We have complained about the weapon changing glitch for a long time.
Fix it. How about fewer strong box feature additions and a little more glitch fixes.
Description: You press R2 to change weapons. The weapon changes to the alternate weapon. Then the weapon changes back to the previous weapon, so that you end up with the weapon you started with.

This that you describe has never happened to me even once.
I think you are using turbo and the game thinks you press R1 more than once. |

What? Not me mate, never had this glitch! Totally agree with more glitch fixes though.
Edit..... Just seen post above, I'm using "official" Sony dual shock 3. So I guess if you're using something else then you've only got yourself to blame. |

Happens to me quite often and I don't use a turbo controller. Though I can't really say when this happens the most as it's not that consistent.
I equally hate the "crippled after hacking" bug. Well I call it a bug or is it intentional that my gun doesn't fire if I stop hacking? Could be. Just love the feeling of staring an enemy in the eye with no bullets leaving my gun. Super fun.

I have the same issue as him. If you have any lag at all, sometimes pressing buttons causes them to glitch and double tap or not work at all. And my controller works fine in every other game (all offline) so it isn't a hardware issue. |

Nope, both my controllers are Sony and I have this happen on a fairly regular basis. Oddly it happens more on my newer one.

i heard about it for awhile but it did not hapen until the hacking started it is rare and only happens at the worst times when i know i had two or three kills lined up but wat can you do.

I experience this whenever I'm lagging. Though for me, it's not quite a glitch.
Whenever I'm lagging, switching weapons takes some time. Most of the time whenever I'm engaging an enemy and this happens, I thought I didn't press the R2 hard enough so I pressed it once more resulting in me switching my weapons twice like OP described. |

This happens to me quite a lot as well. And no Turbo weapon here. Fix it.

It happens to me too...if you press the button for too long, it does it, or if you sprint or do anything in the brief animation.
