If I am damaged, I want the Shield/Armor Indicator to IMMEDIATELY drop the exact amount of HP that I just lost.
Currently, it has an arc velocity animation like a windshield wiper, which is misleading. If I take 200 HP damage, it gradually drops from 250 down to 50, which gives the impression that I am taking a series of small hits.
I want it to drop in one huge chunk instantaneously so that I can properly guage the severity and immediacy of the attack on my merc.

Often times, I see the death screen even before my hP reaches zero. It drops down one or two seconds afterwards.
Often to high DPS weapons, like a Six Kin ACR.
Please buff my Magsex. It doesn't hit hard enough...

I agree. There are many times where I shoot from cover to cover, thinking I have enough HP for another engagement, only to drop 400 shields out of the blue.

The gauge is large enough that I can use my peripheral vision to maintain awareness of my health.
In order to look at the numbers, I have to shift focus from the center of the screen to the bottom left.
There is a performance advantage to using the gauge for HP info.

True. Especially true on tanks, took ages to learn that armor HP on a shield HAV when it goes down is unrealiable. Tank goes boom already on 40-60% armor even though you've visually been able to observe it going down (eg versus blaster tanks)
The suggested reason is very likely, the smaller the HP pool is then more inaccurate the HP gauge is due to the fact that animation can't keep up with relatively high HP change.

Most of my suits have evened out shields/armor. That way, when I hear the armor sound, I know it's not over yet but I should pull out soon.
IMO, having most of my EHP in one tank requires me to check my HP more often. Gotta focus on shooting.
To OP, this is something I've wanted since launch but forgot to bring it up.

Cool, I try to compartmentalize my ideas so people can like some and hate others and not have to hate me 100%. Can you explain your customizable EHP pool a little more so we can get a clear picture of how that might work?
demonkiller 12 wrote:Also what are your ISK trading rates
That depends on the current rates in code bazaar, or what kind of BPO or PSN codes you might have. You can get some sweet deals in code bazaar, but please contact me in game if you are specifically interested in working out a deal with me.

with the dps the weapons deal you maybe have like 2 second life time against a single opponent at best. there is not much time to observe the HUD anyway |

I know where you're coming from. Try this.
Always stay near cover. If you travel out in the open, zig zag and move between dunes, not over them. Always take time to regenerate your shield and armor before going back into the fray. Give yourself a buffer of HP so that you can reach cover in time and have some left over. Always clear yourself 360 every 10 to 20 seconds. Never count on a team member to cover your flanks/rear. Raise awareness and move with a high level of paranoia.

+1 Also this is in the wrong section of the forums. It should be in the Features and Ideas Discussion since this thread is discussing/ giving feedback on a feature in the game and you want it changed.

Who looks on that? Look at numbers. They are precise.
When you're in the middle of fight, you should be able to clearly tell how much armor/shields you have. Or maybe i just have very good vision.
