So, when I tried the Minmatar Assault, I thought it would be an upgrade. It's not. My Cal is set up for striking and regeneration. I have the same build for my Min. I can do the same but with less battlefield contribution. I can't carry uplinks. My M/1-series is like any other assault suit. . . only viable when HP tanked. My C/1: Highs- 2 Complex Extenders 1 Enhanced Recharger RS-90 CR Toxin SMG Flux N/11 flux uplink Compact nanohive Lows- Enhanced Regulator Complex Reactive Plate My M/1: Highs- 2 Complex Extenders 1 Enhanced Energizer RS-90 CR Toxin SMG Flux Compact nanohive(BECAUSE ITS ALL I CAN FIT) Lows: Complex kinkat Complex Regulator Complex Reactive Plate STRONG BOX ROLE CALL

But wouldn't the MinAss' clip bonus allow you more killing power, as opposed to the CalScout's pretty nullified range bonus? Maybe it's just me, but I have outstrafed and been outstrafed with and by a MinAssault, with and against a CalScout. I suppose this is secretly an anti-Calscout thread. Please buff my Magsex. It doesn't hit hard enough...

Also, you may need a complex energizer if you have one, as the Complex Shield extenders will take forever to recharge if you do not. Put your flags up in the sky. And wave them side to side. I don't..never will unless they could actually do something besides increase pg and cpu to my dropsuit Shield tanking is hard mode /period. > Check RND out here

The unique assaults are Amarr and Minmatar, getting a bonus to their weapons and built-in fitting optimizations. Since they're the middlemen in the game, they probably CAN'T be too unique simply because of how the whole game is designed. Anywho, regen tank is viable, speed/shield is pretty good on a PRO suit, a single dampner allows you to go under most scouts' passives if not using mods. Assaults are in a pretty good place right now, in my opinion. The only thing that would need to be changed are the Caldari/Gallente bonuses.
