I am currently in Mexico, I have been for over 3 weeks now.
There is absolutely nothing here that resembles anything Amarr.
Its generally very low tech and dirty, I mean, when did self-flushing toilets and running hot water become rare commodities?
No, I am pretty sure the Mexicans are some tribe of the Minmatar, a fat, lazy, and dirty ompa-lompaish one, probably looked down upon (literally and figuratively) by other Minmatar tribes.

Amarr:Dark ages europe,when the pope ruled (the templars)
Minmatar:The middle east,nomadic tribes within recent memory (Jewish/arab tribes)
Gal: 75% of the U.S. (the founding ideals)
Cal: the other 25% of the U.S. (the corporate encroachment)
With this it makes sense,at least to me.

Amarr: They seem to me to just be a culmination of the three Judeochristian religions. Certain aspects taken from all three, with their own things as well... Definitely give me a Middle Eastern feel overall.
All the good and bad that comes with a Theocracy, without some of the bad, due to how Amarr Religion is structured.
Minmatar: A combination of pretty much every tribal civiization I can think of, with this weird inner-city thing.
Gallente: All the good and bad of Democratic Nations rolled into one. Ultra Imperialistic, viral culture, insane war crimes. Ultra patriotic citizens, and "freedom".
Caldari: Corporate Japan. Oligarchic. Deeeeeep class division. Human rights waived away. Also fervently patriotic, for some reason.
The role of Caldari suits is to whine on the forums.
