warbarge was meant to be a staging point we could organise squads in. now we are in it for about 2 secs before we deploy. then we have the spawn timer that reaches zero and spawns you in 5-10 secs later. both of these can make 1 side quickly overtake the map in the first mins of the battle and make it hard or near impossible to fight back. many times i have spawned into a 5 point map and the enemy has taken the center point before the first blue has reached the first point and viceversa.
what we need is the time for organisation and spawning in without affecting the quick battles we want.
my suggestion is this. all players spawn into the warbarge. at which point they can start to deploy to the ground. you now have 30 secs to spawn in, join a squad and work out your plan of attack. the mcc will have a forcefield up preventing deployment from it and also projecting a forcefield onto the ground spawn areas. this is what allows every team member to spawn onto the map before battle commences giving every player on both sides the same start time.when battle starts all forcefields drop. if you are a heavy waiting for an uplink before deploying you can remain in the warbarge until its deployed.
this mean no one will have a spawn delay and everyone will start the fight at the same time and will be able to organise before hand. everyone wins

I'd like to also have a 3D model of the map in the warbarge, you know on that big useless table. 30 seconds in the warbarge like during FW.

doesnt matter what it is "technically" for. it is not used for that.
no one wants to wait around in the warbarge when they could be killing but this is an issue because how can anyone make squads or organise as a team. im not saying add time to do this. im just saying combine the time we already have such as warbarge time, spawn time after the initial lag and round it upto 30 secs. this means at the end of the deployment loading screen you will spawn in the warbarge but instead of waiting or being thrown straight into the fight you can now chose to spawn early to see the map and get organised. going by lag etc most people will be spawned in after about 10-15secs so probably a 10-15 sec wait on the ground is not going to ruin the quick battle mentality we have grown accustomed to.

Yes, this is exactly what needs to happen at the start of every battle.
30 seconds to organise, choose your spawn location (and maybe it tells everyone on your team where you are spawning) and maybe even having the option to display where you intend to go with a Rally/Attack marker?
