With a 400 AUR instant boost you get however much SP you earned in that match.
He's talking about a 1AUR:100SP ratio, which is ludicrous.

Well, a 30-Day Passive Booster is 14k, and earns you 360k SP, roughly translates to 25 SP per AUR, so 100 per AUR for immediate reward is ridiculous. Especially considering it's relatively trivial to get more bang for your buck using an Active Booster instead.
I use this metric to determine the efficacy of Instant Boosters, which tend to only be worthwhile in exceptional matches, or when I get the relevant missions. Especially if they grant a free Omega Booster.
(I also do this with rerolls, once I've earned all the SP rewards for the day. As long as I get 2.5k reward for a roll, it's cheaper and faster than Passive boosters.) |

The boosters work fine already. It's quite a good balance between paying for a helping hand and not just getting to win because you paid.
I understand where you're coming from tho. When I started out I was absolutely desperate for ways to get better and was quite prepared to pay real money to get an advantage. But genuinely, the only real way to get good at Dust is to keep playing. Boosters, bpo's, aurum gear will all help - but it won't make the difference if you don't practice the basic gameplay as often as possible.
It's these mechanics that make the game great in my view.
