Depends.
If you want to kill stuff while being fast and sturdy. Assault.
If you are a bad shot (and know it deep down) But still want to do your best for your team to win, then go logi. Help everyone out. Thre is always needs for Ammo,Needles and uplinks....

I'd go assault fist. if your new, get your core skills up(armor/shield/repair/damagemods/ect) along with your weapon skills. there is no sence in trying to keep your friends alive if you can't take care of yourself.
not saying you need to be a PROTO stoping pub lord before dabbling with logi, but a good ADV assault with a PROTO rifle is always good to fall back on.
Thr33 is the magic number.

If you have cores max and have a decent aim go assault, if not go logi. I would rather have a Logibro go 0/20 and constantly have a spot to spawn near the point cuz of him than to waste my assault suit fitting uplinks. Logis don't get the glory but they determine wether a team wins or loses most the time.
