I agree. People seem motivated mostly by special interests, and want only whats relevant to them to happen, regardless of what kind of an impact it has on the rest of the game. People push for changes or idea without a clue of what its really about; only because they assumed that it would cover a long standing grievance of it.
Bandwidth was a good example of this. Tons of people who dont use equipment came out in support of it with their various grievance they thought were about to be solved. people said it would solve: non slayers being on the top of the end of game board, rooftop uplinks, spamming around supply depots, lag, reduction of heavies ingame, non logis putting out equipment, ect.
Did the change solve any of those things? Nope. But that didn't stop people from pushing for it and attacking those who actually employ bandwidth on a game to game basis and were trying to warn that none of their grievances would be fixed. People don't want to listen ,and compromise and such. They just jockey for the iron fist. |

Maybe its because you find me too formidable a debater, and want to silence me? Problem is, because you are on a forums, the only way you can kick my ass is by out arguing me. Read that carefully.....it means to have a superior argument. No threats, insults, ect. Just logic. Thats the only way to defeat me.
However, in order to be able to outflank me with words, you are going to have to start paying attention. You cant be making spelling mistakes with words that are static on your screen and in capital letters. |
