Hey guys got some questions was hopin could be ansered my main issue is ehp to fight i need good amounts of shield armour to fight but cant seem to find my assualt suit i like min for its ability to do different things but it doesmt gt enough of either shield or armour tho so im in a dilema on should i continue with mim or not |

If you can Reach something around 800 Ehp in a proto you have enough HP.
If it isnt enough for you maybe you are doing something wrong (no offence), try strafing, improve your aim, use blueberries and greenberries, use covers.
Also always know what is shooting to you, for example if an hmg is shooting to you you only want it to hit your shields, if it reaches your armor you're a dead slave
If this doesn't work maybe the assault isnt your job, maybe you can try different playstyle, using for example a sentinel or a logi
One of the few assaults you'll find in a PC match!

i kill alot of people and use cover its just like alot of times i get jumped and just fall dead no chance to defend myself |

Try finding out what your weakness is. Whether it's getting surprised attacked easily, or finding yourself alone too often, or whatever and see if you can improve on that with either suit modules or practice.
The Minmatar are the most versatile of the suits because of their equal slot layout, and the assault has a pretty neat bonus. If you really feel like it's not working out for you, try shield tanking it, then try armor, and armor repair tanking it. Depending on the one you like, you can move on to a different race.
The Amarr Assault is the slowest, but has decent armor hp and can reach numbers that are within sentinel levels. The bonus they have is also quite nice.
If you decide to spec into Caldari or Gallente, chances are you're doing it because of their main tank, slot layout, or RP reasons. They have a lackluster bonus, but their racial weapons and suit potential know no bounds when used correctly. Well, except the Caldari Assaults when they're facing Gallente Assaults, all racial, and in CQC. They will get REKT. |

ADV Cal assault,
3x complex shield extenders
1 enhanced reactive plate
1 enhanced armour rep
544 shield 260 armour (i think)
or
4x complex shield extender
1 enhanced pg upgrade
1 enhanced reactive plate
674 shields 260 armour (i think)
i'm not 100% if you can fit those 4 complex shield extenders with this build, this is obviously without a sidearm and only compact or basic hives and ADV gun.
thing is with 344 (base) shield hp and base armour i can still pull 40 or close to 40 kills in that suit.
min assault doesn't fit enough? really? 800hp isn't enough for you?
same with cal assault, 800hp, most of it shield, that suit can compete with proto suits.
gallente adv assault, 700 armour easily, again, over 800hp.
maybe the only thing you will do well with is ADV Amarr assault to tank 1000hp.
Not trying to be rude but i used to use militia minmatar light frame religiously which had 87 shield and 162 armour, i could get high 30s in that suit. HP isn't a factor if you play well. you don't need a huge HP buffer you think you do, but if you train your gungame, you won't

Lol, you should have plenty I only have 24 mil sp. Make sure you skill into level 5 of armor and shield upgrades to get that 25% boost in shields and armor. If you upgrade your cores, a proto min assault should be able to achieve either at 800 e/hp or a little under 800 e/hp depending on how much utility the suit has (Regen, rep, damp, scans, kincats, etc.) |
