Me being me, I don't like squadding most of the time, and I have yet to find a corp I like. However, you can be damn sure I'll try and work towards a win in every match I play.
Unfortunately, every fw game I'm getting thrown into is full of pretty god awful players. I've played 2 Cal, 1 Min, and 3 Gal tonight. I don't have Amarr highlighted, nothing of interest to me....yet.
But somehow every game has been lost. And I mean a right royal stomping. Us holding 1 objective and the others under enemy control.
It would actually be really nice if I could play a game of fw where my team are actually any good, hell, I'll even squad up if that's what it takes. Bored of being refused access to a good game of fw because all the good players are in their own little exclusive group

Just join a Faction Channel and you'll be able to squad up. Which one are you interested in?

I'm not loyal to any specific, Cal/Gal/Min all have stuff I currently use. I'm not aware of any factional channels tbh, probably why I'm having no luck.

Yeah, that's it. Well, I think there is a chat channel that takes general factions( FW Starter, I think) and you should check squad finder as there might be a squad running factions( I usually see one running Gal).

In cal fw even the Qsyncs are horrible.
Joined a match with 1 other player, turns out there were 2 full squads q syncing, I thought yay we might win
They had 12 people on 1 outside point refusing to move. They got obd and lost it. The only time they moved was when I shot them and they started chasing me, so I lead them into the city :p

Well, no, not me specifically. It's not 16v1 bro! And besides, finishing top 3 mostly does not make me the "Ultimate Blueb" :')

When you que up solo, it is very much a possibility that even while doing Gallente FW, you wind up with randoms against Caldari Qsynchers.
SOMEBODY has to go up against Qsynchers. SOMEBODY has to be stomped on. *And when you run solo, regardless of what side you que up for, it will be you that gets stomped on 9 times out of 10.
But, you probably knew that, already.
*NOTE: opinion gleaned from running solo for all four factions across my four racial purist alts ever since the FW update with LP.

Join xmlx, people are running FW and otherwise squading up there. You'll be able to find people and end up in the channels you seek.

As many people will mention....... this is what will happen. You may or may not take the gig seriously, like/not like the corp structure......
As such those who do will beat you every time as a result of communication and team work. As long as you can accept this is why you are losing then I have no beef.....but if you suddenly start demanding your own queues because you refuse to squad up and wish to fight unsquadded players....... too damn bad.

Unfortunately, communication is a little bit of an issue. Most people mic up, but fw doesn't start til about 7pm here, and most of the time I'm back from work around 10pm. I already have to play with headphones in, a mic's put the question.
Once I find a good group to squad with, much fun will be had. So fun. Much shoot.

Yeah you think you have it bad?
I work during the US/EU Timezones....... my free time is AU TZ and FW doesn't exist then.
Only times I can fight assuming I want to is on Sat and Sun and even then I'd rather go and get sloshed than waste time playing spacewar......

Do people wait for me to leave to give up or am I just that skilled?
We win plenty more than given credit, just as Gallente win less than credited.
Last Qsync I was in was a complete stomp. We held all objective for the whole game, who says the Gallente never lose again? Oh yeah, the Gallente Loyalists

Q-sync does not equal victory for the syncers. Played a few matches of FW this week and one of them was against q-syncers (or one was obviously a q-synced team). Though the battle was close we won. If you donGÇÖt have adequate people leading the 16 mercs you have no better chance than a team full of randoms. I never leave (loyalty and all that) and have witnessed several victories over a q-synced team. Too many people see a q-synced team as GÇ£intimidatingGÇ¥ and either leave or donGÇÖt even bother trying. And thatGÇÖs annoying.

none of the caldari channels i have ever squad up, and the amarr ones seem pretty lifeless
