Normal heavy frames can be killed faster because they have less health than the sentinel, and no resistences.

Using a suit that not many people can scan, has superior regen and speed, the ability to get medium suit HP, cloaking, and superior scan profiling can't really compare to using a bonusless frame that can be seen by many if not heavily dampened, slow and doesn't have good regen.... But damn to the scramblers though. I can only be so good with ion pistols.

But damn to the scramblers though. I can only be so good with ion pistols. I went 31-1 a few minutes ago in a Dren Heavy with an advanced HMG -- and I'm not really that good at this game, either. The point is that one round does not make any suit OP, and if you use it right, any suit can pull off amazing rounds.

A red dot sight, something used for CQC weaponry doesn't do a light shooting gun that reaches around 95 metres justice. Not easy to use. Though HMG's aren't always about spraying, no aim assist and all, dispersion not that big. It's mainly in the strafing.

Being scanned is a good thing if you're in close quarters (which you should be) because the enemy will think they're gonna round the corner to get the jump on you, only to find a fatty in their face. Also a great strategy: if you see someone in the near distance that spotted you as you're running/moving, pretend you didn't see them and round the corner; they will likely give chase to flank you from behind. Either turn around and wait for them or count a few seconds then try to TIME ROUNDING THE CORNER AT THE SAME TIME (likely hip firing if they're close) DON'T FORGET TO JUST HIP FIRE WHEN THE ENEMY IS RIGHT IN YOUR FACE or very close! Bring the sidearm that has the most range (I seem to like the flaylock considering full damage at max distance) And of course, though it's expensive, max that profiency. HMG is a slaying weapon and you need advantage over other heavies.
