So, maybe these would need to be given separate skillbooks, but I think the current ones could be used.
Might be easier to start with new assault and new sentinel suits, basically take the current ones, and make swapped versions available. Like.. Gallente and Amarr variant suits with more high slots and less low slots, a little more geared towards speed and/or shields, Caldari with less high slots more low slots, a little slower and a little more geared towards armor. Minmitar suits with a bit more base HP, and high/low slot balance that is skewed more towards one rather than a balance |

........kind of like Pirate Faction Dropsuits?
Minmatar/Gallente - Angel Cartel and Serpentis - Fast and Powerful Hybrid Weapons Gallente/Caldari - Gurista's - Shield Resistances and Drones Amarr/ Caldari - Sansha's Nation - Afterburners and Energy Weapons Amarr/Gallente - Servant Sisters of EVE - Non Combative/ Drones Amarr/Minmatar - Blood Raiders - Cap Warfare and Energy Weapons Unique - Mordu's Legion - Long Pointers and Missiles Unique- ORE - Mining
But instead designed more for specific roles on the field.
E.G- Sansha's Nation Drop-suit gets Laser Damage/ Heat Build up bonuses but instead of using an armour suit are built on a Shield Drop-suit.

Would be cool if they were in the Loyalty Store and required both factions LP to buy. Or were just BPO that weren't just palette swaps.

No Empire support these factions. They are active criminals and thus have their own LP stores.

...an excellent idea written by True Adamace....
Something I just threw together for some folks....
Eve / Dust Pirate Faction Snapshot
Blood Raiders - uses laser turrets weapons systems. It has impressive bonuses to the effectiveness of its webifiers (which slow the target) and the capacitor draining devices. The skills required are Amarr and Minmatar.
Minmatar Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 20% bonus to Stasis Webifier range Amarr Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 15% bonus to Energy Vampire and Energy Neutralizer drain amount Role Bonus: 100% bonus to Small Energy Turret damage GÇó-áEnergy Vampires fitted to this ship will drain targeted ship's capacitor regardless of your own capacitor level
Dust Application: Cal Assault and Amar Commando models; no scout, logi, or sentinel frames. This is tough to translate as the primary bonuses canGÇÖt be readily replicated in Dust. Not so much like the GÇ£ReaversGÇ¥ of Firefly fame...more like calculating blood cultists. I think damage bonus to laser weapons and perhaps flux grenades. They should have excellent stamina but generally stats similar to the base frames discussed above.
Serpentis - Excellent tank, good speed, uses hybrid weapons systems. Required skills are Gallente and Minmatar frigate and is effectively the GÇ£defensive counterpartGÇ¥ to the Angel Cartel ships noted below.
Gallente Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 10% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret falloff Minmatar Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 10% bonus to Stasis Webifier effectiveness Role Bonus: 200% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret damage
Dust application: Gallente Scout and Assault models would work well; no heavies/commando/logi suits. Serpentis is also a criminal organization but has significant ties into large research and scientific corps in EVE; more of a well oiled illicit trade and research empire not GÇ£gang bangersGÇ¥ like the Angel Cartel. The key for these suits would be Plasma Rifle centric damage deliver and slight speed buff. I would also recommend a hacking bonus.
3) Angel Cartel uses projectile weapons systems with excellent damage buffs. The Dramiel frigate is a very popular ship for top level solo / small gang PVPrs due to the best in class speed and firepower it can put on a target however it is somewhat thin in HP as you might expect. Skills required are Minmatar and Gallente.
Gallente Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 7.5% bonus to Small Projectile Turret tracking speed Minmatar Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 10% bonus to Small Projectile Turret falloff Role Bonus: 100% bonus to Small Projectile Turret damage 50% bonus to warp speed and warp acceleration
Dust application: Minmatar Scout and Assault models would fit well; no heavy or commando. Angel Cartel is essentially a Min criminal organization that has heavy ties in several of the tribes. Imagine a suit line focused on raw speed (probably highest in the game), would have damage buff bonus and not ammo capacity, and has relatively thin HP (no more than standard Min suits). A bonus to REs would also fit well on these suits.
Sansha's Nation - uses laser weapons systems. Required skills are Amarr and Caldari. There are some nice parallels in Dust that fit a bit better than the Blood Raider archetype.
Caldari Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 20% bonus to Afterburner velocity bonus Amarr Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 7.5% bonus to Small Energy Turret tracking speed Role Bonus: 150% bonus to Small Energy Turret damage
Dust application: Amarr Assault, Commando, and Sentinel models; no logi or scouts. The sentinel gets tough since you will struggle with no corresponding heavy weapon but additional resists might even that out in lieu of a weapons bonus. Sanshas are basically cyber zombies...serious tank, very good but not great DPS, normally slow footed - however a very legit bonus to KinCats. Recommend the weapon bonus be similar to the current Amarr Assault heat bonus. Equipment bonus would be uplink spawn time reduction by 50% HOWEVER you need to lower the number of spawns by 50% in those same uplinks.
Guristas - uses missile and drone weapons in EVE. Required skills are Caldari and Gallente. The EVE Guristas are top notch small gang ships that have excellent targeting and ranged skills and truly take the best of Cal and Gal ships. The Guristas hallmark is taking Caldari tech and making it better with Gallente cutting edge upgrades...basically they represent what the two cultures likely would have produced had the civil war not split them apart.
Gallente Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 10% bonus to kinetic and thermal missile damage Caldari Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 4% bonus to all shield resistances Role Bonus: 300% bonus to Light Combat Drone damage and hitpoints
Dust application: Caldari Scout and Logi would be good models; no assault or heavies. The base Cal stats with noticeable buffs to resistances. The trick on this one is modifying the damage profile associated with the suit...this may not be feasible in dust. Ideally I would give the suit the ability to apply +5 kinetic and +5 thermal damage from any hybrid weapon (rail or blaster). If that doesnGÇÖt work then simply give them moderate hybrid weapon damage bonus that can equally apply to PRs and RRs. The Logi would need bonuses major buff to active sca

Pirate Dropsuits pt 2...
Guristas - uses missile and drone weapons in EVE. Required skills are Caldari and Gallente. The Guristas hallmark is taking Caldari tech and making it better with Gallente cutting edge upgrades...basically they represent what the two cultures likely would have produced had the civil war not split them apart.

The Logi would need bonuses major buff to active scanner and hacking. The scout model should be an excellent hacker.
Sisters of EvE - This is effectively a combination exploration and humanitarian organization that is actually fairly deeply embedded with much of the current lore driving activity in EVE at the moment. Interesting point...they have a very deep relationship with Serpentis corporation (the CEO of Serpentis is the protoge of the SOE Director). Their ships are expensive, multi-purpose, and in the right hands very useful.
Gallente Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 20% bonus to Drone hitpoints Amarr Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 4% bonus to all armor resistances Role Bonus: 100% reduction in Cloaking Devices CPU requirement 37.5% bonus to Core and Combat Scanner Probe strength 10+ bonus to Relic and Data Analyzer virus strength GÇó-áCan fit Covert Ops Cloaking Device Cloak reactivation delay reduced to 15 seconds
Dust Application: Gallente Logi models (must be white w/ red trim); no scouts, assaults, or heavies. First, zero offensive bonus of any kinda on the suit and thatGÇÖs key. A bonus to resistances would be featured as well as a serious buff to hacking moduals and active scanner cooldown reduction, cloak fitting similar to scouts but with a nice buff to the GÇ£capacitorGÇ¥ of their cloak. I also recommend a nice perk to nanite injectors.
MorduGÇÖs Legion - uses missiles and scram/web range to extremely good effect in EVE. The MorduGÇÖs line of ships are pretty much the undisputed masters of long range combat in their respective weight / ship class. The key defining factors of the Mordu ships may be difficult to balance in Dust without careful consideration (note the novel approach of dramatically increasing the missile velocity but cutting flight time to prevent it being overpowered.
Gallente Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 10% bonus to warp scrambler and warp disruptor maximum range Caldari Frigate bonuses (per skill level): 25% bonus to missile damage Role Bonus: 200% bonus to missile velocity 50% penalty to missile flight time
Dust Application: Caldari Assault and Commando would be most appropriate models; no scout or sentinels. Recommend there is a moderate bonus to hybrid - rail weaponry direct damage mods. I think increasing optimal range for all hybrid rail / blaster weapons would be a solid start as well. Increase scan range stats on all Mordu vessel would also go well.
