The APEX 'Dragon' Scout vX.1 is fitted with two 'Visio' Basic Precision Enhancers. These have absolutely zero practical benefit to the fitting whatsoever.
To compound the issue, the Imperial Assault Scrambler Rifle is a pea shooter even with SCR Proficiency lvl 5. This weapon is weak, weak, weak.
This build needs something very badly: substitute damage modifiers for the pointless precision enhancers. If a dropsuit's primary weapon is useless, then it significantly reduces the utility of a fitting. The game is, after all, a FPS.

Please describe in detail how you use them to your advantage, as well as the precision db gained by filling both high slots with 2 std precision enhancers.
In order to justify fitting them, they must provide a significant advantage over the default precision level of the suit alone.
Thank you.

I'm not talking about being an assassin. I'm talking about having the ability to defend oneself.
The primary weakness I have found with the vX.1 build is the inability to take down an attacker using the primary weapon. The REs are useful for traps, but when time doesn't allow for traps, a primary weapon needs to serve some purpose other than to fill a slot with a racially appropriate weapon. Damage mod it.

With 2 STD precision enhancers Long 29 db medium 22 db short 11 db
So with the precision enhancers you detect assaults with one damp and badly damped scouts on the long range scan, scouts with one PRO damp and assaults with 2 PRO damps on the medium range scan, only a fully damped gal scout with PRO cloak on can get under the short range scan.
To me getting those extra scan abilities are way better than 5% extra damage
At short range, 9 times out of 10 you will already be dead.
The 4m/10m/20m range comes into play when determining the value of scans. By the time enemies are within those ranges, there is a strong probability that you are already being engaged by them, especially when they arrive as a squad, as this game was intended to be played. At that point, knowing their location is moot, because you are already engaged in a firefight, where a little extra damage makes a difference.

"I want my scout suit to be more like an assault." No,it's called a scout for a reason. Your main purpose isn't killing things it's recon.
We're talking defense in a pinch, not assault.

Please describe battlefield scenarios in which the two precision enhancers are "super useful".
It is one thing to be theoretically useful, and a different thing to be practically useful.

Damage mod it. isnt that the point. the suit is designed to go unseen so if done right you don't need to defend yourself. and if you find yourself up against a proto scout its not going to be much of a competition anyway.
In an ideal world, everything would happen perfectly, and scouts that are designed to go unseen would all be perfectly invisible little boyscouts.
Your argument doesn't even apply to this game, bro. There WILL be encounters with other players whether you want them or not. There is simply not strong enough battle awareness support to know what is happening around you at all times. Technically, this game favors dampening and stealth over awareness.
