I am very bad fps player and I had a dream of becoming 3rd one day, That dream is dead because I just came first
on an AMARR FW match even though I was drunk because I was the only player to drop spawn uplinks
the longer version of the story
I have avoided online multiplayer FPS all my life because I knew I would suck and the 14 year olds would teabag me
I have started playing dust because dropship flight is such a cool puzzle to work out I did not care about how I could not shoot
at people to save my life
Any way I decide to try and get less horrible at FPS and I had the eventual dream of coming 3rd one day,
I enjoy having dreams
but they are inherently illogical, I was looking forward for the day I came 3rd, and seeing my name at the top crushed my dream,
I know I was drunk because I am celebrating the start of the holidays and the other 15 players really sucked, I simply will not enjoy a legitimate 3rd as much now.
PS I also hate Amarr players because they freindly fire my face for no reason, when I was on the Minmatar I saw a crafty Amarr almost, (ALMOST) kill his freind so I could finish him off, that way he avoided the friendly fire penalty
Sometimes an Amarr player will murder you for a reason , for example if they want to steal your incubus gunship, There is a 2 second window were only you can enter your vehicles but that does not help you if one of your teammates shoots you in the face |

I know I read hundreds of thousands of words per week, but, TL;DR.
Cal fw has it worse.

If you're not an experienced player I highly suggest that you stay away from FW, as you won't be able to contribute much to your team. Even then, it's best to come in with a team of your own as you'll most likely be facing a q-sync.
Just stick to Public Contracts for now.

DON'T ******* SEARCH FOR BATTLE SOLO
Between connection issues and terrible decision making with regards to FW we already but our ass to take some districts only for solo searching clowns to give them away. |

I've been fighting for Minmitar with a team comprising of 2 squads of 3 and 16 randoms. We redlined them within 5 minutes. They had a group of people from 2 different corps on their side.
I wish I'd known more about the game when I chose my race - my friend told me it doesn't matter and pick the character you like the look of. I regret my decision. Amarr FW embarrasses me. |
