We can praise, defend or critic all we like, it won't change much with what CCP want to do.

Sure I'd like more content (or, most of all, better framerate/hit detection), but sometimes I just don't get all the QQ -- over a F2P game!

When we think about it, what has DUST really gotten from the Legion group? Maps is the only tangible item i can think of, tbh. The rest of the new stuff, i.e. AUR Store, looks like it is all coming out of Legion's Marketing department. If Rouge is sticking with the UR3 engine shouldn't we be seeing some code optimizations and fixes for the game's core mechanics? If you go look at the metacritc user reviews and tally up the issues peeps have with the game, it comes out at something like: core fps mechanics: 200 lack of features: 20. For example, BPO's etc were removed to balance the economy in Dust... until $ The BPO's are re-released (questionable, seeing as they were supposedly a problem) Followed by APEX, not just free suits but free fittings (if BPO's screwed things up, isn't this worse?) My guess is the community would have chosen BPO parity in suits/weapons before APEX fits So the changes were not to suit the community, and to say it's for NPE? We are on a game, presumed cancelled a year ago, running on a dying console = what new players?

I suspect this is an attempt to increase the average spend per player that they can use to forecast large future profits with Legion and a larger player base. I doubt the revenue is all that significant due to the small player base. But if they can show that there is a decent average revenue per player that would be an enticing statistic to make a case for further investment. Best PvE idea ever!
