Those suits are not exactly OP, they are basically starter fits. Are you opposed to people being able to grind isk in them? |

When the player trading market is opened I think the APEX suits should be taken off the market entirely.
BPO's should only become available periodically, and for short periods. People would gobble up BPO's if they rarely became available and if they were different every time. I like BPO's but I don't think they should be so abundant.
This would also make the current BPO's much more valuable in terms of ISK, and reward the people who already bought them.
Everybody wins!

The issue I have with apex suits is that they can trick you into thinking you are up against real proto:
"Yeah screw you proto douche... Oh no wait, its only apex. Thought I was good for a second."

I think they just need to tie the pub payouts to clone value similar to what PC is.
Being that CCP decided to flood the market with BPOs, they have the change the payout formula.

The only apex suits that are even arguably good are the sentinels and you can make basic sentinels that perform similar to the apex sentinels for like 8k isk... try going isk negative at 8k a suit...
They are real shiny but are really a suit meant for grinding and for newbies.
This coming from someone that doesn't even have them. Who cares how much isk the other guys are losing? A lot of those other guys have hundreds of millions to billions of isk anyways. It's a pub, if you're mad because you are going isk negative then stop spamming proto in pubs. |

Iv had quite a bit of hate mail recently for "proto stomping" "being a try hard fagget" "to cheep to spend isk " "relying on scrub suits " and many more for simply running almost exclusively in my apex hawk scout . I like to think it's just a touch of the green eyed monster .

Why are you bothered with suits that can be outperformed by a properly fitted basic suit with adv modules, or completely outperformed by adv suits?
Why only APEX and not the other BPOs? Why not the starter suits? Why is FW usage better then pub usage?

In the old system they would have affected payouts very positively. With the recent changes CCP has made it is impossible to say.
No one knows what the new system is so it is impossible to say how it is affecting payouts. |
