I just watched this one video that made me only think of the Dust community. It was this video: Toxicity What do you guys think about the video and how it relates to this fan base? In competitive environments, like sports, there's a long history of trash talking. It's just another way in which games aren't actually recognized as something for more than just children's toys so we must all behave as if we are children. We aren't considered to be viable for something that adults can enjoy and therefor we must make sure we don't offend anyone while we are being competitive. Basically the difference between the peewee sports where everyone gets a trophy and actual professional sports. We just don't have a professional setting, only peewee, where mlg gamers constantly get punished for stupid trash talking on twitter or something. I mean a kid is looking at 8 years in prison in Texas for some stupid facebook comment, so honestly this whole gamers aren't people thing is just degrading.

Not necessarily straight trash talk, but a form of it on both the forums, in game, out of game in the form of Mittani's drunken threat. Good sportsmanship applies to video games and anything called a game in general. Also, even in real warfare there is sucha thing as a gentleman's war and the trash terrorist crap like ISIS. There are warriors who allow themselves to be restricted by things like the Geneva Convention and then there are terrorists and scum who are willing to fight any way they please. How would you feel if a terrorist group from your country caused some kind of disaster abroad and then your country was invaded and ruined even more for the actions of that group of people?.
