From December 25th until January 6th, we will be giving away special rewards in our Daily Mission system as a thank-you to all our players.
Don't miss a single day!
Each reward is available from the time the server comes up until the time the server goes down for maintenance the next morning (11:00 UTC - 11:00 UTC the next day). After that, the next item is unlocked and the previous one will no longer be available. Finish at least three Daily Missions in your Mercenary Quarters each day in order to find out what they are and get them, so team up and get tactical or just spray and pray. It is the time to grab those 12 special daily mission rewards plus a special bonus reward at the end!
Day 1 (Dec. 25) reward:
"Support your allies, including the dead ones."
Day 2 (Dec. 26) reward:
"Suit up, Ultra Marine Style."
Day 3 (Dec. 27) reward:
"YouGÇÖre makinGÇÖ me blow my mind."
Day 4 (Dec. 28) reward:
"Someone removed the label."
Day 5 (Dec. 29) reward:
"Forget the manual. Just point away from anything you care about and pull this trigger."
Day 6 (Dec. 30) reward:
"I could have hadGǪ Oh, now I do!"
Day 7 (Dec. 31) reward:
"A powergrid on tank treads."
Day 8 (Jan. 1) reward:
"Pepper would describe it better."
Day 9 (Jan. 2) reward:
"You are the night, soldier."
Day 10 (Jan. 3) reward:
"Click, clickGǪ BOOM."
Day 11 (Jan. 4) reward:
"For the up close and personal mercenary."
Day 12 (Jan. 5) reward:
"The only thing GÇÿholyGÇÖ about this is what it does to its target."
Bonus day (Jan. 6) reward: A very unique reward to all that complete today's missions.
"Pure as the driven snowGǪ mass driven snowGǪ in combat, no less."

If they require completing all daily missions, that'll make this the first DUST event to mandate the use of AUR to participate in, which would be a shame.
Sometimes, one just has an overwhelming urge to throw a potato at someone.

Whoops.
Missed that.
Although the point still stands for the Jan 6th event. That apparently requires completing -all- the missions, which likely means you will need to spend AUR to complete the event - the first time an event has required AUR.
Sometimes, one just has an overwhelming urge to throw a potato at someone.

Looks like Christmas came early for me this year. I got 50 of those snowball launchers for completing three Daily Missions yesterday.

Thats what makes it so fun, not knowing what chocolate comes next in the advent calander. Sure everyone just wants to rip it appart and eat the chocolate, but unless you do your three daily missions there shall be no goodies! Awesome!

I'd love to participate in this event now that I'm done with work for the night...but PSN is down.
To the Devs - Are we just assed out for these prizes if we can't play since Sony is having problems?
I don't ***** when Dust has issues, technology fails, it's part of life...but I'm wondering if you'll offer this event again when Sony has their **** together, or give us another shot at getting these prizes. (I was pretty stoked to see what Quafe suit would be available)

Same here. I got home from work, hoping to put in a few hours before I sleep but PSN was down. I gave up trying at around 2am EVE time. Would be nice if CCP extended the day because of PSN issues.

Considering PSN issues, i'd suggest just switching this event to rewarding people all the prizes that logged in and completed 3 or more missions in the timeframe or something similar to total number of missions complete, that is if PSN comes back up in the the next day or two.

I can't even get a single kill today because of ****** matchups.
An Ambush match had some ****** capture a CRU, which caused us to get spawn camped with Mass Drivers.
And a skirmish match had two entire squads of proto stompers against a bunch of random blueberries.

How about give people a try at getting the stuff they missed. Just include anything that would

PSN Networks where under attack at different rates...
Some people could log on in Europe but couldn't log on in Japan..
Some people could Log in the US... but couldn't log in, in Canada.
Pretty much every game developer that has active games and events running for this holiday that was affected by the hackers has either extended or is completely re-doing the event days..
This affected some people for multiple days... And is during the holidays... Let us have our Christmas present's the Grinch tried to steal....!
