After reviewing the Apex Dragon vX.1 Build, I made one myself and then started modifying it ...
UNTIL IT ACTUALLY FELT LIKE A DRAGON
(As dragonny as you can get with a STD assault scrambler rifle)
Here's what I came up with: --- KEEP --- Imperial Assault Scrambler Rifle Imperial Scrambler Pistol 'Siren' Flux Grenade 'Hateshard' Remote Explosives 'Apparition' Cloak Field 'Cataract' Basic Profile Dampener
--- NEW --- Basic Shield Extender Light Damage Modifier Imperial Basic Armor Plates Basic Kinetic Catalyzer (x2)
Field Testing Results 1. The double precision enhancers currently assigned to the vX.1 were wasted space, since they cannot effectively be used in combat. They provided no value for targeting enemies, nor preventing back damage any more than the suit did without them.
2. The double reactive plates did not provide enough armor repair bonus, nor aggregate armor value to make a difference, so I scratched them and exchanged them for an armor plate and a free slot.
3. The double profile dampeners didn't provide any additional advantage over a single profile dampener, so I dropped one for a free slot.
4. Due to the limited alpha damage of the assault scrambler rifle, I needed two things: 1. more damage. 2. speed to get the tactical advantage or evade enemy fire.
The result was a fitting that could take some hits, remain mobile, perform sneakery and engage multiple targets simultaneously and effectively.

No. I copied the build from the description. I wanted to see if the Dragon Apex fitting was any good, so I built one myself and field tested it. I don't think I would use it that much as it is. I prefer my version which is a little hardier.

Has anyone else tried the original vX.1 yet?
Has anyone else tried the modified description in the OP and compared the two?

Orber Gen wrote:Yea... Dragon needs at least ASCR and something to regen armor.
The War Profiteer pack vX.1 has an ASCR and two basic reactive plates (+1 armor regen per second each).
The build is shown here:
