I'm logging in tomorrow just to see what's new. I usually keep tabs on the forums but I'm lost in a sea of information.
So would one you fine upstanding mercenaries give me a rundown on what I need to know? Last time I played was when 1.9 dropped. Now I see things about BW and Apex suits; honestly I need a refresher course.

Apart from the pandor...ehrm Strong boxes issues, all deployable equipment now have a bandwith associated with them.
Your suite have a max bandwith (logi have largest), and any equipment you drop exceeding the max limit will result in the destruction of the earliest placed equipment until you are within limit again. (Think of it as a FIFO buffer)
If you deploy a shitload while a logi, and then switch to heavy, you will see most if not all your deployed equipment go poff.
I also believe higher tier equipment have lower scan profile now, so you might not see everything on TacNet.
Scanning (passive) also changed so you not see the directional arrows anymore (active scanning you still see them).
You also have stronger scanning up close (and weaker far off).
Alex suites is just non-modifiable pre-fitted Proto BPOs which are quite nifty. You can buy them for AUR or LP (+ISK).

Overall it made the game much more interesting, IMHO. |
