ONLY 2 WEEKS INTO 1.10 AND I HAVE 188
800 AURUM per key... do the math... 150,400 AURUM needed...

I don't play often, and received enough free cash from SONY to buy free AUR, which I used for keys to unlock and receive various Defender Issue suits.
I now have 20ish keys and a huge disappointed merc. |

Close to 200. I have opened 2 because I received 2 decryptor keys in battle salvage once.
I am apparently not crafty enough to figure out the alternative way of opening strongboxes.

Yea I'm at around 100 boxes and I have not played super huge amounts. I think I 'salvaged' over 15 in 2 matches alone!

500 boxes and i bought 40 keys. anyone with a brian can tell the boxes are garbo, UNLESS they plan on putting in the trade system soon

67 and counting. Earned two keys through daily missions, so really I'm at 69 so far. Those two had x4 ak.0 assault suits and x33 adv flaylocks in them.

What's the point if the supposedly acquired assets don't even end up in inventory. Assets glitch?
At least, that's the situation with item-centric daily missions.

Boxes don't have any meaning anymore, they are just a quirky stat i keep an eye on from time to time.
207 if you must know. And there is nothing worth risking roughly $80 on.

I've rcievend 3 keys from missions and 1 from salvage. Shame I got rubbish in all of them which I still remember:

I have 160 strongboxes right now.
I used some extra Aurum I had to buy 20 keys to see if unlocking the strongboxes were worth it; it was not.
I have salvaged only 1 key.
I hate the strongboxes. It easily make up over 90% of what I salvage. |

Question: Would you be more or less willing to fork out AUR for keys if the drop rate of boxes were reduced to a ratio between key/boxes about 1/10 (instead of today's roughly 1/100), but were guarantied to contain more valuable loot (still random though)?
Speaking for myself, I think I would.
I think the realisation what it would cost to open all of boxes (as demonstrated in this thread) puts off many people to spend anything after the initial curiosity.
BTW: Only counting about 30 boxes for me, but I have hardly played at all lately (IRL things to do).
(I was amazed how many boxes I got with the little time I spent... It felt silly) |
