Are we not mercenaries?

Are we not the prostitutes of war? What kind of factions would grant such status and prestige to sell-outs? That would be like bidding at an auction on something, investing a bunch of money for the thing you have just bid on, and then potentially getting outbid. I don't want this stupid title that says CORPORAL, I want a stamp that says FOR HIRE or ****! Bojo For CPM

So again, that's why I said its an aurum thing, because mostly it is.

It's basically military for hire, so of course they use a ranking system, you'll pay more for higher ranked mercs who have a more refined skill set. Because, I'm pretty sure the ranks scale so if you were a higher rank you probably gotta drop more dosh. It's like a money rpg yo. Corporal which I was at was only rank 3 and it bumped me to rank 6.
