I choose to skill into Calogi and found it only have 2 EQ slots...
I could've used my scout to get the same.
How do I correctly use a Caldari Logi anyway?

Probably like an assault with two equipment slots.
I wish they'd just revamp the Logis.
Highs and lows by the racial progression, 3/4/4 equipment progression, light weapon only.
Dust is there! I was real!

How do I correctly use a Caldari Logi anyway? 1) Do a little research before skilling into a Dropsuit. 2) Your Caldari Logi has a LOT more bandwidth than your Scout. 3) Caldari Logi have bonuses to Nano Hives. Some Nano Hives repair armor.
Also, I think the high Bandwidth deployment logi should both have sidearms. As in, give the Caldari Logi a sidearm!

Oh and I forgot to mention... I never had a problem with bandwidth on my scout, and that I wanted to use my logi to heal, I guess I can't hope for anything Caldari to be useful.

Proto that sunovabitch and start playing Jesus!. They can maintain a decent tank but like all Caldari suits cover will be your best friend. Equipment will cost you an arm & a leg, but please try to resist trying to charge people for your services (kinda tacky, IMHO).
At Proto, you will get your third equip slot, giving you the holy trinity of medics - rep tool, injector & hives. Proto CalLogi throwing proto hives is like a wellsprings of life for the battlefield & when you step on one, you know it. There are State injectors that rez at 100% shields & armor (proto at 80%), making you a real pain in the ass for opponents looking to clone your team. The rep tool can be switched out for an active scanner if there is already a dedicated chubby chaser on your team.
BW will be negligible at this point as your only deployed equipment will be hives which you should be watching like a hawk. Just keep your hives & shields up & be ready to herd blueberries to your designated safe spots. Once they figure out why you pushed them into your enormous glowing orb, some never leave. It's nice having someone camp out on your gear since reds & auto aim will focus on killing the clone standing on the hive, not dextroying the hive itself.
At least this is how it works for me.
Just wish hives had more HP. If proto hives had enough hp to withstand a core flux nade, assaults got a bonus to RR kick reduction and shield extenders didn't have the movement penalty Caldari suits would be in a great place.
Have you considered a career in costumed aggression?

Also I hear that Logis are the WP generators, this true? (I normally get around 1k WP a match. Oh and no I didn't skill intop logi for the WP, but rather because it was the only suit I haven't skilled into. :p)

Dedicated logi is something I have yet to seriously explore. I'd like to pick your brain about playstyle to be useful at what you mention above. I have a Cal Logi at lvl 5 on suit and hives. I just usually run links and nanos and try and get as near an objective or central building as I can and lay down hives and links in hopes I'm on a team that can use them to make a difference.

My scout IS better than my Logi at being a Logi.
It can Rep/Rez and Deploy Links/Hives (Depending on which I pick) Did I mention it has similar HP and a smaller hitbox?

Swap your weapon and equipment priorities around and you will have a better time...as in PRO/ADV equipment and modules, ADV weapons or less. You will not be killing things with the same capacity as a scout or assault.
What are you doing with a codebreaker on a logi? Tank or damp. Especially if you are going to run needles. Honestly you can even go speed/ewar but a codebreaker is a waste of a slot until you have a lot of slots.
In the same vein, go C/1 and never go back. Just like anything else, logis are ok in STD but start to get solid in ADV. Wait a few months for the SP.
Disclaimer: I am Amarr Logi not Caldari but we have similar roles. And I do have basics like you.
If i had a Logi C/1:
Highs: 2x Complex Shields, 1x Complex Precision Lows: 1x Enhanced Plate, 1 Enhanced Rep Weapons: Toxin AR (or basic ARR) and Flux Grenade Eqipment: 2x ADV Rep Hives (K17/D), 1x PRO Injector (Wyrikomi)
Strategy: Play support for slayers. Set up entrenchments at important defensive chokepoints. Keep at least one hive on hand or swap it for a rep tool and be a"medic.

Some Nano Hives repair armor. Also, I think the high Bandwidth deployment logi should both have sidearms. As in, give the Caldari Logi a sidearm! Yeah, I'd like a sidearm. Oh and I forgot to mention... I never had a problem with bandwidth on my scout, and that I wanted to use my logi to heal, I guess I can't hope for anything Caldari to be useful. As a Sentinel who equips Kin Cats and Reppers rather than massive stacks of Armor Plate I often prefer Caldari Logi heals. Those Neno Hives never yell at me no matter how badly I screw up!
