I have a suggestion re salvaging.
I have seen an idea that's been suggested where vehicle wrecks stay around for a few minutes and give people chance to salvage which i love the idea of. However I think this could possibly disrupt the flow of combat as is currently exists, as in we only get a limited time in the field anyway and must have a member of the team or squad who is fit for salvage rather than combat.
I feel that the above option could work and would be very nice if the battles were extended somewhat.
I would like to propose a change in order for the events above however, that may reduce the disruption in capturing objectives or winning the match.
This would be that when a vehicle is destroyed it still becomes a flaming wreck (which i personally like) and may also spawn containers within a certain distance from the destruction as equipment is thrown clear by the explosion, these would stay till the end of the match. I think Flaming wrecks littering the field would look nice however It maybe inconvenient and effect vehicle usage if they block up areas of the battlefield.
Following a victory the winning side would get 5 minutes salvage rights to change out fits and vehicles to salvage wreckage and scan for containers on the field either using handheld or vehicle scans.
You would also be able to destroy wrecks to deny the enemy if you were loosing which maybe allow for some game play around something other than pre-defined objectives like hacking points, i.e. you are winning and have just destroyed an enemy vehicle that is pimped out with expensive mods. your team may like to save that wreck while the enemy tries to deny you the salvage rights before the end of the battle.
Anyone getting annoyed by reading of the above post should consider the following.

The wrecks should stay where they blew up and become cover for berries.
I may not have a mic, but trust me, you NEED me in your squad if you want to win.

I like Too Many idea if say a guy brings in the cheapest tank in a game and blocks a door would be awesome. Also is they could then destroy the wreck ability would be needed.

I also like the idea that having salvaging rights following a battle gives more to do on the surface than just fighting, if there is a period after the battle is concluded it makes it seem like there is that bit more to the game.... Of course some team members might decide to leave the map and go into another battle but its like the ninja salvagers that show up after a big battle in EVE.

I'd love to see an ability coded in that allows us to hack and keep enemy equipment as we find it, just run up, hold circle like any other hack and presto! Enemy uplink/hive/explosive added to salvage for later use or sale. Content, delivered.
