You can get officer Dropsuits.
Can't get these in any other salvage means...
The only other place people have got them is tournament prizes.

Ratatti did say that there is an ultra rare item in the boxes that you cannot get from salvage. Maybe this what he was talking about?

In my experience the officer dropsuit seems to be The rarest. I've opened roughly 140 boxes. I know, I'm a sucker. Anyways out of all those I got a single officer dropsuit. it seems to drop a set of officer weapons 1 out of 10 boxes. It's not often, but it has dropped vehicles. The most common are defender or frontline special issue suits. It's given me hundreds of those. Lots of basic aurum stuff and the occasional skill book you don't need. Have yet to get a strongbox inside a strongbox like some have claimed though I don't doubt it's possible |

i got yesterday a 1 day active booster out of a box the other box had 18 imp SCR (the aurum ones) in it... |

I got the same 
CCP Rattati asked me if I was sure it wasn't an officer suite, but after double checking...no officer suite in inventory.
Perhaps a Standard Medium Suite is mixed up as officer gear?
Edit: I still think the strong box drop rate is ludicrous. |

It not a standard frame it's a " Caldari medium Dropsiut" and it's old and you can't even use it and it won't show up in your invintory |

That's funny because I did salvage a Caldari State Peacekeeper ck.0 dropsuit. Only 1 I got so its not common to get that dropsuit in Public matches.
MAG Raven vet 7 times. Favorite weapon F90 and Highest Kills 78 and 23 deaths.

at least the flaylocks were worth more than the price of the key so I guess that was a win.

120 keys pretty much the same experience. Minus the off. Dropsuit . Deff. Not impressed.

A buddy got 15 black eagle assault rifles. Not the entire suits, just the rifles. Wish i had access to AR's that fit in sidearm slots, rare imho.
