I actually don't like it because it makes my desktop look too busy. I don't even like icons on my desktop lol |

I can understand that. I personally like information and I especially love sci-fi themes, so this is perfect. Albeit, I kinda wish there was -MORE- functional stuff but unfortunately there isn't that much to monitor on a computer >_>;;;

I never really look at my desktop that much to customize it but my background does change around every 10-20 minutes. I have a large photo full of 500 HD pics from nasa. It just randomly picks one and changes on it's own. So it is always unique and different everytime I do see my desktop.

Lol I understand that. I actually got a sort of theme transformation pack to my computer look like OSX Yosemite (the UI is sexy). It did come with some widgets that do some of the stuff Rainmeter does, but they're hidden.
If you don't already have it, I really recommend getting Stardock.
This is what my desktop currently looks like. Quite proud of myself, really. |

Totally free here: http://rainmeter.net/
You can get skins and what not from Customize.org though I warn you there is a -slight- learning curve to using them if only because you have to activate each part of the skin individually in the skin manager. Just as well, a lot of the time you're going to have to go in and edit the .ini file to get the results you want (scale of the modules, information like weather in your location, etc)
If you have any questions lemme know
