Why are you trying to re-balance old vehicles for re-entry when the old iteration of vehicles were far more enjoyable? (well, when you didn't have SLs & FGs locking from redline to redline).
Wouldn't it be better to do a literal copy & paste of the old vehicles & their modules, then do a re-balance of AV? That way you'll have vehicles that have more customization than a Starter Fit, while still being balanced against AV?
You may not like what I just said, but you know it's true...

The old vehicles were entirely unbalanced and entirely broken. That's why. They may have been fun, but they were also unfair. Also, a lot of other numbers have changed since then, so just pasting the old vehicle stats in might not exactly play as one might expect.

I don't think they were broken, or unfair, while there were a few good fits most of the old vehicles were easily dispatched by an SL or FG (if you didn't want to use those there were Lai Dais & X-3s worked wonders as well.
Though I will concur, the Charybdis and Limbus were kinda OP, but that's because they moved at the speed of light (almost as fast as the Abrons while having almost as much eHP as an HAV

Chromo was pretty darn balanced for v vs av.
People would complain about marauders, but most people didn't have spec'd up av.

Underlined part is the most important. Nowadays, everybody, their mother, grandmother, brother, dog, goldfish and bacteria have AV.
