After purchasing the 'Templar' BPO pack from Victor a while back, I've found myself in love with the look of the Templar assault, it stands out with that awesome white & red & gold trim... But the logi and sentinel are so underwhelming. You cant really tell the sentinel is even a Templar suit, it looks the exact same as the 'Hellmar' sentinel.... Infact I think the Hellmar actually looks nicer with the much brighter gold plating. The Templar version's gold looks more like murky brown.
The logi suffers the same lackluster appearance, though not quite as bad as the sentinel.
Curious if others feel the same way - that all 3 of the suits would look great with the same color scheme as the assault has - or do they appear better as they are now?

While I have not studied it in detail I have always like the Assault the most out of them when it comes to looks. |

Personally, my templar assault feels like driving around in a ferrari, I spent MONEY on that & I want it to look like it lol. With the assault there is no doubt when you see it - that's a templar assault, it doesn't look like anything else out there... But as for the logi you have to be looking really close up to even see the red in it, and for the sentinel... it doesn't matter if your close it doesn't look any different from other heavies.
P.S the link in the first post shows all 3 Templar suits side by side.

Off topic but that link reminded me of the Templar Manhunt which I had totally forgotten about. We really need some more events similar to that. One for each race and a random person in each battle is made a "Templar" (or racial variant) |

Tell me about it, as much as I love teabagging people with the big shiny purple balls of my Quafe sentinel, if they ever made the Templar sentinel look like that I would have a new contender for my favorite pub suit.

Wulda been fun to be a Templar for that, but hunting them down for money was pretty good as well

I just wish it had a little bit of the white on it as trim as well, so it would really stand out from the other logi's on the field.
Same thing for the sentinel, a little white trim on it would differentiate it from the hellmar sentinel and look way better.

Sure, the suits look alright, but they all suck equally. Especially the scrambler rifle, I can't tell if it is trying to kill me or the enemy.

Without any skills into a weapon, most will give you the same feeling. I felt the opposite though, the laser and scr pistol are mildly effective, while with the scrambler I found myself fully capable of smacking around some (non heavy) suits.
In terms of looks though, that srambler pistol is SO beautiful.

They will definitely shine when I come around to an Amarrian fever.

Always run the Assault with an ADV DMG mod.

Meh, I prefer to use complex damage mods over making my suit stronger... w.e floats your boat
