If you're from he EU, and you're playing on the EU server, then THEY would be lagging, not you.

Look up lag compensation. The simplified gist of it is the guy with the worse connection to the host (server in this case) gets a boost while the guy with the better connection gets dragged down.

I know how lag compensation works.
For DUST's case, it calculates depending on ping where the target would be on your screen the moment you fired your gun, and then decides if it was a hit or not.

I too play exclusively on EU servers and everything always works. (Aside from when the entire game is affected)

I played a PC against south americans and i was doing good till their tanker use teletransport and shoot me down from behind, but that was a PC, i m not expecting the same in a public game
