Starmap-Factional Warfare: "Here you can see the aggregated district ownership of factions engaged in Factional Warfare. Any system in a contested or vulnerable state is indicated by small icons that trickle all the way to the region's overview. If there is a battle raging on one of the districts you can join the battle from the district view."
The district view has always been missing here and shouldn't be since players should be allowed to join their friends in battle as indicated by the in-game description. This would significantly reduce, if not eliminate, the need and desire for players to queue synch in public matches |

+1
FW should be about coordination, not just in EVE. With this change a dedicated FW player/squad/corp could actually support their EVE caps and vice versa. "We're going to hit X system, be ready."
That would make FW so much more awesome.

FW is not a public match.....well its sort of is....but if you don't come prepared you don't deserve to win.

The ability to select what planet and district your team will be fighting in, coordinate with eve players, and "come prepared" will make factional warfare a great mode for advanced players. Think about it, queue synchs belong in factional. 2-6 is a small squad, good for pubs, but 7-12 all sharing comms? No that doesnt belong in pubs where newbies play. No, i want to see a day where new players can safely roam in high sec while factional can be a team of 16 minmatar loyalists coordinating on vc to do glorious battle against a coordinated team of amarr all able to vc together. No saving up for a clone pack and taxing newbies till they quit playing just bc its the only way to fund bringing the elite into the almighty pc wars.
Game-sanctioned factional queue synching will enhance npe by giving new players a safer place to do battle(high sec) while giving pc corps and veteran players who arent in pc a stomping ground where they are incentivised to leave pubs and embrace higher level play. Factional store is a great start. Standings and loyalty points and special gear give people a reason to want to play fw, salvage and selling items give people a way to make the isk needed for factional gear, and allowing players to choose tjeir district gives vets a feasible means to live the low sec life as many EVE players do |
