Does this game have Aim Assist Mods that people use? It doesn't happen too often but sometimes I come up against people in this game whose accuracy is so incredible it is a bit suspicious. |

Aim assist is a fickle mistress
I've had moments where it felt like I was using an aimbot, and times where I just could not land a single hit on a heavy that was barely moving. Sometimes I'm untouchable when I strafe, sometimes I melt in a second from 500 dps

While Aim Assist has it's advantages, I can see it quickly become broken in this game. No AA plz and thank you.
Will we uplift other animals to sapience? Or condemn them to impunity?

AimBot is actually what I meant, I just forgot what it was called. I have gone up against people using a Burst Assault Rifle or Burst Combat Rifle and while both of us are jumping sideways through the air and strafing in erratic patterns the guy I go up against will manage to land every single bullet. You would think with all the crazy movements coming from both of us that at least one bullet would miss. |

I used to feel competitive in my gun game using KB/M even against clear aim assist users. Now a days I am anything but competitive in the close to mid range gun battles.
No matter how hard I try, no matter how sensitive with my aim I try and be, I struggle to track his strafe while my strafe seems to make no difference as aim assist tracks me until death.
Aim assist needs to go in my humble opinion. I bet 99% of DS3 users all use aim assist now.

You know, I used to be in exactly the same boat, then I joined the dark side
Even with barely a month worth of experience using a controller in a first person shooter, I did a lot better in the incredibly common short to mid range battles than I ever did with the mouse, and now I'm not too bad with a forge gun and even the sniper rifle
Yess... use your controller... let the aim assist flow through you... and strike down your enemies!

Ya, this game is so quirky. Even with an hmg it won't register damage and I will be shredding into them. Other times I will mow them all down. I like the second outcome better. Lol

Auto-aim has helped me get kills with a Bolt Pistol on scouts. The scout is flying through the air like a freakin' pixie and I decide to switch to a Bolt Pistol and auto-aim decides to go for the air surrounding the scout and boom no more dancing pixie.
The State will always survive.

If it was any other game, he would be 100 correct. Point and click isn't ez mode?
But the KB/M in dust is kind of broken, unless you get an eagle eye, then it becomes ez mode again. This is coming from a 20+ year PC/console gamer..
I only play dust514ums now. It was always more fun than the actual game anyways.
