If 1.10 had been Uprising 1.0 the **** would be bananas. CCP would have had to hire more devs instead of letting some go. They probably wouldn't have had to monetize Dust quite as much simply because of sales volumes.

AV/Vehicle balance is not doing as good because of no legit Anti-Shield AV, so armor constantly gets shafted.

No way, I think this game is moving backwards Way too many nerfs. When you nerf you buff something else whether you wanted to or not
BW to me was unnecessary. I can side step any issues it presents ( I simply have ups, needles, rep tools on my assault scout) BW NERFS LOGI's It nerfs proxy mines for no reason (this buffs tanks/lavs)
Major Rifle imbalance Rr nerf, breach ar, hmg, etc
Nerf to cloak scanning ability Nerf to scout - weapon/cloak switch animation (very annoying) - I agree with these nerfs prior to this update. But because of the new change in scans, these changes should be removed or scaled back. I also think they should increase the time while cloaked
They are now going to nerf RE's Why? Because heavies are crying They are not invincible enough ( I use medium frames mostly and I have died maybe 5 times over the past two weeks from them) |

No, AV v V balance isn't doing good because infantry whined that tanker aim was too good, so the blaster got nerfed. They complained when we went with Gallente lore and used 3 rep modules, so those got nerfed. Judge himself had railgun range, damage and spool up time nerfed because his dropship got shot down. Hardener strength got nerfed because we fit them right.
Vehicles aren't in a bad place because of vehicles. They're in a bad place because of constantly complaining infantry, whining that our aim is too good and that we know how to fit our vehicles.
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

I think you could have the vehicles of old if the player base was the same now as it was then. Back then the pubs weren't filled with majority solo players.
The reasoning behind my statement is that the teamwork needed to kill strong vehicles was there then as opposed to what we have now.

1. Back in the old days i do remember that Surya/Sagaris generally blew each other up without infantry getting in the way
2. Even at the start of PC Madrugars could take on 2 tanks at the same time while a FG hit them (swarms & lai dai were the broken exception)
3. But as time has gone on yes the playerbase has changed, it gone from 'lets get the bastard in the tank you go FG i lay mines and you go swarms' to 'hang on let me get a FG and the tank is gone'
4. Different players and nations - I always find that the ones who do not complain will always kill you because they always work together, take the japanese in any game they go hard and in days of the Marauders they would kill you, same with GAC, same with the russians/germans/french or any of the nations which dont speak english as a 1st language - They will work together and make sure you will die if you are a problem
5. Pubs - Balancing for pubs has been the worst thing to happen to this game since matchmaking doesnt exist and it doesnt help if the enemy refuse to pull out a counter to your playstyle |

I think the removal of autosquading for the 6 man squads had a HUGE impact that many people don't factor into the change in behavior of randoms.

1. No warbarge anymore - Even so they dont make squads, take Amarr FW 13 not squadded and that happens often |

Yes, I like to know as well. I have been around since even before Uprising and so far the game hasn't begun to improve on a serious level until after Fanfest 2014.

I think if anything the biggest stopgap for this game has been (a) poor game performance/framerate and (b) no consistent eng-game for veteran players to prevent them from decimating newbies.
These are single-handedly the two biggest complaints I've heard from anyone I've tried introducing the game to, and they've hardly been addressed since. The new weapons, maps, equipment, etc. are all just fluff when you consider that the core mechanics of the game are still very much bad.

It's not a major improvement, but it's a start and we should expand on that.
Frame rates is another thing to address, but it's not as problematic now as I have seen. Despite the fact that the PS3 hardware is more or less consistent across the majority of players, some of us have experienced no problems and some of us have. In my case, I have not experienced any problems with frame rates so far and I use a cheap 12GB PS3.

Someone using an automatic weapon like an HMG or BAR isn't going to notice a drop in framerate like someone using any burst-fire or semi-auto weapons. These types of weapons' rate of fire is directly correlated with framerate.
Also, as a M/KB user framerate has an even bigger impact on aiming ability and overall responsiveness. I'm almost sure there are people who have similar framerate issues in the same places I do but simply don't notice them due to acclimation or whatever. DUST is the one of the few FPSs that I've consistently played that has never felt "smooth". The game functions but it's never a seamless experience.
