I won't use a module or dropsuit unless it's associated skill is at V. If I fit something with less than V in the skill I feel like I'm not getting the most I could be out of that module, know what I mean?
Weapons are a different story. I will use them if the Operation skill is at V, everything else is just gravy.
Just curious.
My advice to you, playa...

I just fit what I think will work best. Let the skills grow as they will, it'll just make me better.
I do however, always strive for five in module skills. Complex mods are worth the SP
I am the bluedot. And I will rise again.

Once you hit a certain point I guess you have that luxury but even at 40-whatever million SP I just last week got scanners to 5 and don't have things like kinkats or explosives there.
Only have 2 or 3 suits at 5 too... but a bunch at 4, not like I can't use LP suits and the 1.2 mil SP for the last few % of the bonus is not worth as much as variety to me.

Just curious. Yeah I can agree. I want to squeeze every last bit out of every module, suit and weapon. I'm even working on fitting optimization though I once looked at it as a waste of sp |

I just use what I believe is best for the moment.
Put your flags up in the sky.
And wave them side to side.
Show the world where you're from.
Show the world we are one.

No... I don' know what you mean. I use what I can when I can if it fits with my specific criteria (i.e. Amarrian). My SP is finite so I can't be as picky, easier to be satisfied that I can use it instead of snubbing it till I have it's skill maxed out which could take forever. |

Actually forever can be achieved quite quickly if you're willing to buck up the cash for boosters. |

It is amazing what 1 30-day active and passive booster can do for your lifetime SP. I started playing roughly 13 months ago on my main. Started using boosters around the time 1.8 deployed and I now have a toon with over 45 mil lifetime. That is just with regular boosters, imagine if I had used omegas.... Disclaimer: I did use omega boosters on a couple occasions like the million clone challenge events. |

Yeah unfortunately do that. OCD. It's a bugger. Oddly on EvE it does not bother me. But I always need to use Minmatar stuff.

No, otherwise, I wouldn't be able to use half the stuff I have and that wouldn't be fun.
That said, I have most of what I use at 5 (armor modules, kincats, and damage). |
