Does anyone else feel like framerates have gotten worse this patch? The game gets incredibly choppy when I'm engaging targets and it's been getting pretty irritating. I play M/KB so it starts to feel especially awkward when framerates drop.
Has anyone else been feeling it?

Been feeling it since Uprising 1.0 buddy. When framerates drop aiming with the mouse goes to pot.
I tend to run voice comms off and settings at low to minimise performance loss however if you want to be effective as part of a team then turning voice comms off is probably not an option to most people.

Yeah I mean I've been around for a while as well but it's been especially bad with this recent patch. Chromosome by far had the best mouse aiming system. It felt much more fluid and responsive back then. It's only gotten worse since Uprising but I've gotten used to it.
The framerate issue is another entirely. The fact that maximum rate of fire of semi-automatic and burst-fire weapons directly correlates with framerate plays a very large influence as to why HMGs, Shotguns, and Breach ARs are so common in city sockets where lag is typically worst. Ease of use plays a large part in what weapons are used, and because semi-autos and burst-fire weapons are a lot tougher to use in situations where sheer game performance factors into whether you succeed or not these weapons particularly suffer. The game feels behind me a lot of the time because it's not responding as fast as I'm trying to tell it to. I think DUST has suffered from this for a long time, and you compensate for it of course, but it's always still looming and gnawing away at you. F-$%ing framerate man!

0.o, Mines been smooth as butter bar maybe two matches where one was in the GRF on domination, but that match still had a buncha' equipment spam and a fair few mass divers to boot, so I'll chalk that one up to being player caused. The other was annoying but two matches out of a couple dozen since the patch drop? I'll take those numbers.
Sorry to hear about your troubles mate.

Preaching to the choir man, preaching to the choir.
Yea I mean that issue is especially noticeable with things like the Combat rifle (I assume the Burst AR too) where DPS can get chopped in half as the game performance and framerate drops.
The funny thing is and I did test this for myself - If you run normally with a HDMI cable @ 720p and you go into the playstation settings and force the game to run at 574p (or something like that) mouse aiming is actually not too bad at all. It becomes fairly smooth and much more useable.
Of course running the game all the time at 574p or what ever is a no go as everything is super pixelated but it shows that the ability for reasonable mouse input IS there.
