We coordinate a bit so that at least two of us have advanced drop uplinks. My matches don't slow down at all. We keep uplinks on the ground persistently and reap the WP rewards from it. I even notice blueberries dropping uplinks, though not as often.
Bandwidth has changed how people play Dust 514, it is true, but it has been for the better. Everyone dropping a dozen uplinks a piece then swapping to a slayer dropsuit was not fun.
Adapt or die.
My advice to you, playa...

Really, i kind of like the changes, uplinks in hard to reach/tactical/well hidden places mean more now. Besides, if they get popped itGÇÖs someones job go get some tactical uplinks back up. Just a change of pace, like with so many in this game.

People are dying? Drop a link. Lots of Pew Pew going on? Drop a hive. Don't drop these before then. They won't last long. Equipment is now carried and deployed when needed, rather than all bunched up in one place, ready to be fluxed away.
I'm happy I never settled into the spam logi mode. This is how I've played since before uprising. Back in the League of Infamy days DJINN Pheonix had a post on the LOI forums about it. Back then I was a Calogi, I'd drop a nanohive, rep hive, and an uplink in a favorable spot to push on an objective or a favorable spot for my team's defenders to either spawn back in from or to drop back to in order to replenish.

1. Pubs is worse than ever with this
2. Really you need a 6man squad to have any kind of decent links at all but all it takes is to kill 1 or 2 and then your options on flanking or trying to take something go out the window
3. I didnt ask for this but i understood the reasoning for this but Amarr and Caldari suffer the most unless you want to run proto all the time
4. The mini flux alone could have cleared roof campers and supply depots without this change |

I don't see the problem here. Only time I've ever been able to 'spam' uplinks or nanohives is when I frontload them in my fits, which I don't do anymore cause it's really pretty stupid. It means I can't rep or revive people, which makes for a bad logistics. |

That is great, Dust has needed something to push people into squads for a while now. The scout meta created far too many lonewolves mixed in with blueberries without a clue.

It's actually fun to logi in pubs again. Especially if you were never a dude with 15 logi setups to maximize the amount of equipment you could spam the field with.

Isn't it though?
I didn't jump on the link/hive suits for spamming until like 2 months ago, I just don't play that way. Most the time I even forgot I had the fits. I've always had suits with a variation of equipment on them. It's why my heavies love me so much. Nothing like a gal logi with proto scan, needle, rep and rep hive |

You told us what?
The games opening moves aren't a scripted way to farm WP? The games are more about taking and holding points and killing rather than uplink spam? The games are more about teamwork than solo play? The games have less high point camping?
The game is better off this way. |

Right. So that way you have the option to keep your EQ active without having to blow 180k ISK on every suit. And newer players who don't have the SP or ISK to run "regular" proto can still play logi at a decent level of effectiveness.

Im fine with how things are playing out, I can still throw out ~8 uplinks and cruise around being a real logi, meanwhile just about any equipment on the field is coming from a logi, the way its supposed to be. Stay mad chump. |

There have been a number of cases of U.S. service men uncovering abandoned weapons caches of chemical weapons and none of them have been in any way connected to any recent weapons program. |

We didn't broadcast finding those caches because it would have uncovered our involvement in them having them in the first place. I was an infantryman in Iraq for 28+months, we found all sorts of stuff like this.
Some special ops dudes uncovered a HUGE cache of chemicals buried in a grove in Baghdad, but it had been buried post 2003. We were out on patrol and they were just sitting there in Humvees. We got there and they talked to our LT for a second. Less than 5 minutes later they bounced and we ended up digging all that **** out for like 18 hours. People were passing out all over the place. Hardest day of work in my entire life.

Yeah I've heard stories from a friend of mine of buried jets/munitions as well, but until we find some munitions factories/labs that they were using to manufacture chemical (or other WMDs) in the recent past, Im not too impressed. |

1. Newer players dont really have the fund to run an Amarr proto logi suit to be able to put enough links down to be able to flank |

1. 2 links do not last and get destroyed completely unless they are put that far away from an objective you would be better spawning at the MCC with a LAV |
