proxys are not worth using anymore due to bandwidth cost. It requires 8-12 to be effective which requires a mininum of 24bw meaning you need to be in a logi suit, gimping the amarr & cal logi to lay more deployables, and impossible for gal & min logis to lay more deployables without the proxyies going gone.

Haha, don't get mad at me, I loved putting down 15 mines, 6 uplinks, 8 hives, and a partridge in a pear tree just as much as the next guy. Who needed a squad right?

i never use 15 ,too noticeable, i just pile them up in a choke point, switch to forge and make him go that way

although i must say i dont tank often. if im in a vehicle its a dropship primarily and then the jihad jeep next

Proximity mines need all the love they can get. I dont think that is at all fair that if you set traps you are punished from using any other equipment.

you can set a proxy trap with a std logi and switch to a scout/assault/commando/heavy/or logi of another race
the bandwidth is only applied to that suit with the proxys
basically you can still spam you just have to use different suits while rotating
I have yet to see if the different tier suits interfere with each others bandwidth (if anyone knows, reply)

after messing around I found this
you wanna set you proxy trap with a suit that has high bandwidth adv/proto logi
after you set up switch suits with different deployable equipment but try not to exceed the bandwidth of the logi
you set the trap with (9 proxy trap = 18 mb) so whatevers left over you can use to run links/nano's on any other suit
but once you exceed the bandwidth of the suit that laid the proxys they will self destruct
play smarter not harder

i run a proto min logi, i usually dropped 7 pile. the BW doesn't really effect me because after i drop the pile i stay in the logi suit with 2 comp dmg mods and a freedom MD and drive scanning lav around, look for straggler to jump, wait for the proxy bang. tho i've had some tanks survive the 7. i just cant drop my 2 droplinks anymore, not too big a deal the tank kill is more rewarding to me anyhow than the spawns. sometimes i can bait another vehicle into the trap by having them chase my LAV.

All Proximity Explosives deal 750 HP, the only difference between tiers is the Max. Active.

You would need to set proxies for the whole match to just have a chance of destroying gunlogi with 4k shields and double hardeners.
Even jihads need to have almost every RE [11-12] on them to destory 4k shields / 3k armor double hardened gunlogi.
