Please show them some love there're supposed to be the mobile tank yet assault suits have more have more hp then them. They don't fear the heavy with superior strafing and speed assaults , scouts an even log can best heavies in 1v1, with the way some of the rifles are set up heavies don't stand a chance an I know everyone will say get a squad or get a logi fact of the matter is heavies need a damage buff to there guns. Bring the fear back. Oh an btw I suck at playing everyone kills me but wth I enjoy it. Lol |

It's not fair to jump on OP for his perception, assaults do have quite a bit of health that takes an HMG some time to mow down. Throw in it's terrible hit detection and how big our hit boxes are - it can make people believe assaults are stacking a lot.
OP - if I were you I'd be going rep-heavy, 3 rep mod and a STD HMG - and try to keep near cover unless with vehicle transport.
You'll find that even if your out-armored by another heavy you'll win your confrontations with a little strafe game.

The communitys general opinion about the heavyweights of the game is that they should not be able kill the smaller dropsuits with relatively ease despite major weaknesses such as no equipment, no ewar, slower movement and larger hitbox.

assaults should be the goto suits for... well assaulting. there the standard infantry suit and if they are now goto imo that is good. the other suits should fill certain niches but assault is like the versatile infantry, not exactly a specialist but can adapt to his enviorment easier than the other suits can.
