Nirwanda Vaughns 1043	Posted - 2014.12.10 23:01:00 - [5] - Quote 21 boxes, 1 key and i bought 5, load of tat tbh. 4 x thales but again just as yesterday it was all items i don't have skills into apart from 1 which was 19 x sinwarden AScR safe to say i'll not be buying any more keys, the stuff in the box was worth less AUR than the key. in total it probs cost twice as much AUR unlocking the boxes than the stuff was worth. the whole lock box thing has eben a bit of a let down. there is far too much tat in them than anything worth having. i'd say up the loot or drop the price of the keys because at the moment they're far too much of a con Never argue with an idiot. they bring you down to their level and beat you through experience proud C-II bpo owner

I've played Dust 514 so long, I've grown to expect and even admire the sitnginess of the game... so this close to Christmas, when you pull the ribbons off the free present (salvaged strongbbox) and find----a lump of coal---what did you expect to see? How many more times are you good for the same con? I actually like the strongboxes/key mechanic, because I suppose it's built as a console gesture toward the "codebreaker module to unlock flotsam cargo containers" in the EVE game (in both cases you are risking your effort because what's inside is a mystery). LOL, I love this game. Has anyone tried to "sell" unopened strongboxes? Is there a salvage value to them? I'd be interested in finding out. Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne... No story can have life without writers and publishers.

Since the ratio of really good rewards can be adjusted on the boxes it would not be bad for stuff flooding the game and more strongboxes can be given out to make sure AUR sales on keys does not get hurt. This would make an excellent way to reduce the overall reward of AFKing while squashing the P2W arguments into the ground. The missions already leave AFKers lacking the rewards of other but this would give everyone even more of an advantage in leaving them behind.

Cuz if not I can say without a doubt that CCP only got these last two patches out cuz they had certain ways to make money to add with them.
