All i'll say is that this whole bandwidth thing is a bit of a fiddly mess.
you try put strategic uplinks down for squad spawns, you drop a nanohive for the heavy you're repping and *poof* away goes an uplink removing any advantage you may have had.
it wouldn't be so bad if the smart spawn worked properly but atm uplinks are disappearing constantly and in ambush you end up caught in the poor smart spawn mechanic and unable to get uplinks away from the reddots because some poor sod has dropped a nanohive down and his uplink has gone.
its a nice idea to limit equipment spam because it was kinda outta hand but i think things should have been altered in the carry/active stats instead of bandwidth. uplinks seem to be a thing of the past now as both new and vet logis are trying to remember where and what they've dropped in what order.
perhaps have bandwidth set per equipment type instead of a base number so instead of 20mbs per suit have 8 for uplinks, 8 for hives, 8 for explosive ect so that we can keep a couple links out and not have to worry that the nanohives we drop are gonna cancel them out leaving squad/team high n dry

unless it has changed in the last 20 hours it's broken and they know about it. all suits have 9 mbs right now, from mlt to proto, logi to heavy. so if you put out a viziam uplink (4), and a rep hive (8), your uplink pops. they will have to change it this downtime. |

I had absolutely no problems using Drop Uplinks in my Logi yesterday.
The only time it would disappear is if I tried to place 3.
