Because the forums is not a good way to gauge popular opinion and posters make a small percentage of the player base.
I mean I could've given 9 of those likes to 1 of the posts.

Technically speaking he didn't say he was going to do anything with the info.
And basing something off 1 person could've fixed with alts. is a really BAD idea.

Poor vehicle users, how awful it would be for them if they couldn't farm kills in ambush.
It's completely besides the point anyway. The point is he asked the community to vote on something, then ignored the result.

Well, technically, kills can still be "farmed" in Ambush OMS, without vehicles.
But to the changes to Ambush modes, it's my opinion that the current modes are a big improvement over the blaster tank spam of the past.
The Ambush 50 (no vehicles) can be a good infantry brawl, as long as matchmaking hasn't taken a powder, and the 2 vehicle limit on Ambush OMS doesn't allow for annoying vehicle spam.
These days, I've noted, there are far more players with AV on hand (lots of Commandoes, particularly, with dual AV/infantry weapons) that vehicle users can encounter a quite challenging opposition.
I think what we have right now works well, although it would be nice to be able to select one mode or the other, rather than rolling the 'Scotty' dice.

Still 100% in favor of removing vehicles from Ambush matches.
If they aren't accelerating a stomp, they're transporting HMG heavies. |
