True Adamance Praetoriani Classiarii Templares Praetoria Imperialis Excubitoris 15627	Posted - 2014.12.09 20:29:00 - [1] - Quote Whether or not this directly relates to the appearance of Caroline's Star and the loss of the SoE "Thera" Colony we have had Imperial Loyalist Lunarise Aspenstar and Samira Kerhner confirm the presence of a cloaked structure in the Hilmar Solar System, within the Kador Region of Imperial space, and more worthy of note the presence of Sleeper's outside of Anokis. The structure is not entirely perceptible yet and appears to equipped with a damage cloaking device which gives away the structures position as arcing bolts of energy race the length of its surface. Video File //Status; Decrypted// TRANSPONDER 7087ALLIGNED >> BROADCAST INITIATEGÇª Second Lieutenant Kerhner of the Praetorian Auxillary Forces additionally confirmed the presence of Sleeper entities designated as "Circadian Seekers" while appeared to be active within the system scanning down wrecks, ships, and structures. The also appeared to be non combative and docile even when several were destroyed. "I destroyed two of the sleepers, but they did not respond in any way to my attacks and continued whatever they were doing. They seem to possess only a very simplistic AI, in comparison to the usual heuristic functioning of rogue drones and other sleepers, as they lack any response to hostile or disruptive circumstances." Second Lieutenant Kerhner also reported having her own vessel scanned down by one of the Seekers. "They move regularly throughout the system, scanning down structures, ships, and wrecks, then returning to the damaged structure some time later. I was scanned by one, but this didn't disrupt or damage my systems in anyway." Additionally she and Miss Aspenstar also noted that these particular Sleeper entities possessed powerful shielding capabilities something that has not been traditionally observed in combat against the Sleepers in Anokis. As far as This One is aware there have only been fragmented reports of sighting of these cloaked structures throughout very distant regions of New Eden and not prior information relating to the appearance of the "Circadian Seekers" that Ms Aspenstar and Second Lieutenant Kerhner have confirmed for us. It's is fortunate at least for us that the Amarr were able to secure so many Sleeper components during the research race. It is my hope that this support from our capsuleer community will grant Imperial officials insight into the technologies of the Sleepers and additionally insights into their purpose in our habitable space. Prior to this report it was my understanding that Sleepers did not operate outside of Wormhole Space and as such this news is rather alarming. So far they have shown no hostility, which is good. But considering the extremely limited information we have, and their ability to scan through even the best cloaking systems and ECM jammers is distressing to say the least. The drones are exhibiting similar behaviours warping to and scanning down celestial bodies and objects including military installation. No one still knows why the Sleepers have begun to appear in K-Space, but the fact that in the latest Sansha incursions they have retreated using jumpgates instead of their wormhole technology, which in correlation with the Caroline's Star event and the wreckage that is the Thera system, everything points towards something big and dangerous having happened in wormhole space. Perhaps there is a threat beyond the Sansha and the Sleepers we do not know about yet. But we will see. I used to have a blog where I wrote stuff about DUST, and people seemed to like it. As trivial as it may seem any incident borne of the appearance of these entities poses a threat to the stability of the cluster as a whole. Regardless of your thoughts and opinions on the Empire it has played a large part in aiding to establish peace between the empires in the last century. If a unified and militarily advanced nation like the Empire were to suffer a crippling blow at the hands of such entities I dread to think what such similar attacks might have upon the remaining empires. God's chosen will of course endure all trials......
