I want a more colorful battlefield dammit!
Why does every projectile appear to be in different shades of yellow/orange? 
With the new visual effects thing implemented, I think it's time!
Hybrid - Plasma: Freedom Purple
Hybrid - Rail: Corporate Blue
Projectile: Baby Eating Orange
Laser/EM: Slaver Gold

Hybrid plasma typically ranges from the green tones to blue tones in eve.
hybrid rails typically are always magnetic blue.
Lasers depend on the lense but everyone likes either multi spectrums or gleams.

That's for beam lasers.....and no one I know in Amarr FW uses beams.
It's Scorch Pulse Laser Ammo all the way to the bank and back.

I really like Rail trails to have a different color.
Right now I can't tell the difference between Rail Rifle or Combat Rifle when in an intense crossfire.
Making Rail Rifle and everything Rail leave a blue trace would be way better to tell which guns are being used in those situations.
Side effects of playing Dust:
Emotional trauma, Anger Management issues, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Depression

I would rather like this instead:
Hybrid - Plasma: Violet purple
Hybrid - Rail: Turquoise blue
Projectile: Vermilion orange
Laser/EM: Redish black

Honestly though, LR and ScR should in general be thermal which is to the red and infrared colour spectrum.

The color of plasma can change depending on what is being used to create the plasma, and the gases around it that it is also superheating (Typically plasma wouldn't have other gases around it though)

Generaly I'm against to very multi-colour enviroments...
I'm ok wit solid color range - it can be harsh.
Dust mood's are fine, and this few moments when we saw Legion is IMHO right way.
Somehow I like 'dusted' Dust 514. We are not under PG 12 that different-vivid colour is the 'must'. (kid's recognize game too close of reality if not).

Plasma needs to be electric green and very bright usually.
Like in Fallout.
The prototype variants should be purplish blue.
Rails seem to be fine currently. The blue suits them good.
Maybe make the prototype ones a brighter blue...
Projectiles would be cool if they fired tracers every 1/3 round. Most rounds would be hardly visible orangish like they currently are, but 1/3 of them would send red streaks across the sky. HMGs would looks crazy.
Prototype would fire all tracers.
Lasers. You could really go anywhere with this.
Please, make my Opus pretty...
