I play logi mostly and I've tried them all through multiple SP refunds to see the strengths and weaknesses .
New changes , even through a normally buggy first day of a patch shows me that I just got nerfed and I just don't like it and let me explain and no I don't have math or numbers , a chart or diagram , neither do I have links or worked out data spreadsheets but you know sometimes you just get a feeling that you can't deny and if your smart and listen to it instead of having one of those , " I told you so . " , moments you would see it coming .
I use to use Amarr and maxed out the links because that's what I like to do along with reaping and laying nano's and proxies and it was nice and the sidearm made that suit something special , it had stamina up the ying yang and I had stamina maxed along with kin cats as well along with the core , you know the usual ... I used Cal , my favorite because I thought I wasn't going to like the nano bonus , $h!t ... that bonus kicks @$$ and I had everything at 5 like Amarr , you know ... core too , used Min and I'm just a medic and ended up picking Min and just went Min mostly but anyway , I didn't use Gal even though I always kept my scanners maxed but I just don't like Gal's except their heavies and I'm sure I'll get those , " You don't know what your missing , I can see everything ." , types but I just don't like Gal's .
That little smiling face on the back of their suits are disturbing , one even has red lips and like a pink suit I just can't wear it .
No offense .
I tried to placed down my usual setup of laying proxies and nano's to help and they just kept popping one after another , now I understand the bug and everything but I can see that my game is gonna have to change because I can't lay proxies to kill HAV's and LAV's or someone standing close to the explosion which I love about this game , some of the nuances of this game is tremendous and something's make you wanna chuck your DS3 but anyway , place nano's to help regen and stock troops , place spawns to jump back in and in fact making me inactive when I could do a lot to help lesser equipped players which will create more of a stomping process along with the multiple spamming abilities of multiple low cost OB's .
That's all I hear now it seems like every 35 seconds is that sound , letting you know a OB is coming and it's annoying .
That's not strategy .
That's gadgetry .
No risk for a reward , like catering to these people who " complain " about rooftop camping when they know dam well that they could go and do something about it themselves and mostly it's people from or in constant squads in notable corps .
What the frack are you of all people complaining about ??? You already have the manned advantage , you know each other threw battlefield history and you have the WP numbers , what could possibly be the problem ?
Get a crew and a DS and take care of it ... now all you have to do is easy mode OB it , got a problem with a FOB well OB it .
You don't have to do the work and it would be a shame for you to have to do ANY heavy lifting , like going in there and having to do anything about it personally , even if you already have the numerical advantage .
That's strategy ???
I'm not as active as a player as I was before and these changes are the reasons .
I understand sometimes that spawns are placed where there a problem and it's nothing that you could do about it but that's when you hunker down and camp them like there camping you and wait them out .
It's not hard and if you have numbers a OB like previously was and should have never been an issue because it was easy to get .
Harder for a solo player and as one I just can't complain about that .
I'm so limited now , thanks CCP for caving in to the whiners , now they have more and have to do less to get it .

I think the biggest problem they were trying to fix was the lag EQ created.
I do hope that your role gets fixed. I have been on the receiving end of some of these things, and I know what it feels like to have your role nerfed because of others who abuse mechanics but could care less about the role itself.
I will keep my Eye out for any good ideas that would help out.

It's cutting a logi's work in half and rewarding those who sat on a supposed soap box and complained about issues that weren't really issues , unlike glitches and such that are of a known concern .
Are you one of those complainers who complained about imaginary problems while not addressing real issues ?

I have yet to actually try dropping large amounts of equipment or even testing my scanning suit. Come to think of it, I still don't know exactly how bandwidth works... I mean, I know what it does, but in terms of how much equipment you can put down with each suit type, I'm clueless. Rattati said it was currently broken and all suits have 9 bandwidth though. Sorry to hear you couldn't lay down any proxies. Those things are going to need a buff I suspect, given the fact you need ten or so of the things just to take out your average vehicle.

I don't think that it will be a fix , it seems that a good logi can no longer care for a team so more people will play the e-war game .. to get under or have enough HP's to stand a confrontation .
People complain about medics but don't protect them while on the field , this will make all logi's useless unless your PRO because your bandwith can't withstand more unless so it's killing the upcoming logi's because it's limiting them more then there SP's .
I know why things are popping as far as EQ but I haven't noticed anything wrong with spawns yet and I'm not complaining about that it's just now I can't help out like I'm skilled to .
It's one thing or nothing .

Yeah I know about the fix coming but if your the type that likes to try and do a lot as a logi , you will notice the difference .
That's what I mean and now the buff or reverting of mechanic's start when it was fine from the start .
It's just going to kill the bandwith and the easy to obtain OB's that kill eq , shields and such .
So now that's going to be spammed as well now .
Sometimes you could create more problems trying to solve " existing " ones .
This wasn't really a issue besides people not wanting to take the time t deal with it personally and even more with the OB changes .
They were use to there kill switch .

I know you know better then that and NO but I would like to see the SP's that I have spent work for me in the same game and not just one mode or form at once .
Most can snipe or heavy , scout and hack ... also fly and give intel and have gunners or run CRU's and do whatever ... but for logi , even if you switch suits , your limited and might as well wear the same suit using the same EQ because switching will not prove as effective anymore .
Logi's just got nerfed ... including the OB's that clear planted EQ .
