its very hard to hit anything with it. im not sure if it needs a increase in the number of strikes (3-5), or an increase in radius.
overall though ive repeatedly struck the same area ( the top of a water tower) hoping to clear it of uplinks and ended up getting nothing.

i love the new flux strike... i just need it to work. |

It may be an error with the cursor and camera angle. For example, if you go to the map and place your curser on the far edge then center it by moving the camera, the cursor will be in a different spot. Make sure the camera is centered on where you want to fire.
I haven't personally played yet but that's the only thing besides a bug that I could guess is wrong.

maybe. i tried moving the cursor a few times to make sure i was centered over my target, but i still ended up needing to hit the area a couple times |

This is exactly the problem with a 3d map, you have to move the target dead center in the middle.
CCP can you please change the ob targeting function as follows:
leave the OB targeting reticle always in the middle of the screen and just move the map under it.
Aditionally please make different sizes of reticles for the strikes, and zoom them with the map, that we can judge the size of the strike on the map. This would really help, with the strikes.
Also please increase the small flux strike size, and make it slightly more expensive (1000wp should be reasonable).
Right now it's just constant spam without anybody hitting anything. Also it should be a smaller gap betwheen the different strikes, so that the operator isn't tempted to waste all wp on the small ones...
Dedicated Minmando Masshole with love for Swarmholing... Not playing logi that much anymore... which is a shame...

im ok with 300 wp. im not ok with the constant notification spam everytime i get 10 wps though. i like being able to blap some clowns rooftop uplink lol |

I must say, that these new mini strikes are rediculous.
It might get a little better when the BW bug is fixed, but seriously, this is a major nerf to EQ players.
EQ at the node is pretty much useless now, since the node areas get spammed with those mini OB's...
So far I don't like it at all. But it's a young mechanic and we'll see if SL's become more patient to wait for bigger strikes.
And please, fix those OB notice spams during the whole match, this is highly annoying. Also we need a correct amount of available OB warpoints, and please give these on the HUD of the SL, that he is not forced to check the bloody menu all the time...
So far this is quite a sloppy implementation of the new mechanics.
BTW, the Map with the most spam (Gallente Research Dom point), is still a problem, since even after a emp strike, the attending logis just put all the crap down again in a matter of seconds. This is just cheeesy. Please move supply depot in the open.
All in all, I'm not impressed, since this update makes all games more like a zerg fest of sorts.
