Hi, I'm a pretty old Mordu's Trials beta vet, and I haven't played since the game officially was "released", I think it was patch 3.0 or something, idk.
So anyways, what's new? Anything to keep me interested? Are the core mechanics fixed now?
To be honest, I'm quite surprised and glad that the game didn't die out when things were rough. |

Come back tomorrow after Uprising 1.10 (pronounced one point ten) has been deployed.
Overall, ever since CCP Rattati took over development for Dust since Fanfest 2014, the game has actually undergone a vast amount of improvement with a much smaller team than before. In fact, many of the core issues surrounding Dust were fixed during the past few months already.

there's new toys to distract you from the core mechanics or lack of.. frame rate still sux.. dropships are halfway flyable if you invest 20 mil sp. swarm launchers are the new goto for hipster mode. people are crying about the breach AR again just like they did in mordus private trials.. tankers are easy to farm hatemail from, you just throw RE on a lav and ram them. one of them pulled the "i'm a US marine, watch what you say to me" card the other day when he didn't like the reply i gave him. we no longer have internal server error or invalid fit so that's a bonus.

Content is amazing.
Core mechanics are terrible and embarrassing.
they have attempted to dull it down a bit with some band-aids? but still terrible.
Worth coming back and giving it a try. DUST is different then what most shooters offer. It promotes intensive rage. |

It's what I tell everyone that has left the game. A new CCP dev has taken over and a lot has changed. The only thing left to do is to leave Legion on the pc and port Dust 514 to the PS4. I'm sure a PS4 port will bring back all of the boys to the yard.

Game runs a lot better now. Even om my new 70Inch Led smart TV at 250hz = Dust running at 60+fps.
No lag, no jerkyness, and yep.
Racial dropsuits but still waiting for pilot suits.
The old tank, lav, and dropships will come back.
More new maps, moods, and the Caldari production Facility = Beautiful.
Old maps have been balanced.
A lot of new weapons so you shouldn't have a problem.
The merc, Vet, and Elite packs are back on psn store ao get them while you can.
You can sell your unwanted gear for ISK!!!
You can buy a respec.
Enjoy the game. :)
MAG Raven vet 7 times. Favorite weapon F90 and Highest Kills 78 and 23 deaths.
