Had a few matches ruined by AFKers tonight. Standing around the spawn points and MCC doing periodic moves.
I'm sure our collective minds can come with a punishment / fix for this. Some kind of team vote that if you are caught 3 times in a day you arefined a bucket of SP perhaps...? I'm sure you all can do better than that.
Along with it being so rare that matches are at all close these days, I ain't been having a lot of fun on dust tonight. |

AFK is a huge problem, but not everyone you see doing that is AFK'ing on purpose. Sometimes folks might use the restroom or have to change a diaper and tap the controller every so often or any scenario
But yeah, AFK is a huge problem...but I feel like if ISK payouts were better, AFK spam would go away |

Better payouts per WP and passive payout nerfed to the ground, that's the obvious solution CCP keeps ignoring for two years. |

Had a match last week where the top three on my team were boosters and the bottom three were AFKers. How is anyone supposed to take this game seriously?

the answer to your last question is no one really does.. dust is the laughing stock of the rest of the world. i always equip a nanohive and droplinks when i AFK- droplinks around the CRU ground spawn and nanos for when i hear the gunfire of some blueberry (always with a negative score) who is wasting ammo on me, i stop trolling internet (rudely interrupted) and drop the nano at his feet. he then switches to melee and i return to trolling internetz. i once went 1rst place AFK by just droplinks and nanohiving the butthurts wasting their ammo on me. see sig.

Yes sir, it's really annoying when you are still trying for a match and the majority is already picking berries in the redline.
It's not only the problem of afk but just walking around in the backfield doing nothing. I mean, if you don't want to lose isk just take a starter fit and **** around and maybe take 1/2 guys down with you.
Or do you want to protect your precious K/DR to get into a big corp, really? With this playerbase? If you leave your system on to do that instead of playing an actual game i think you are very sad and you should choke on soup and slip on a banana peel.
