Hey so i heard talk that skill point from dust will transfer to legion will this include passive skill points that are unused just those that have been applied? Or am i just wildly off base |

It's actually referred to as a transfer of our investments. They didn't say specifically how much of the SP will be transferred over and we don't know for certain if the BPOs and other AUR items will be the same when they transfer over because Legion would be operating in a completely different set of rules and mechanics.

I hope we get at least half of our SP and our name, other then that I wouldn't mind fighting to get all that isk again as long as it's not a grindy game like Dust but instead mmo-fps sandbox

Bear in mind, that what 60 million SP is in one game may not be what 60 million SP is in another game. The scale could be different, the progression rate could be different. So don't assume that a set of numbers would carry over exactly in such a thing. The same goes for values like ISK and AUR. One might expect to see exchange rates based on the differences in how the games are tuned or whatever.
I think the one thing CCP did outright commit to, is the ability to carry over the name if such an eventuality comes to pass.

I think working out an exchange rate on SP will be very difficult. This is something that will have to be worked out once the SP system for Legion has been (IF) set in stone. I really have to wonder how the new SP cap and booster system will affect this. In the long run I feel like those going to Legion may be some what negatively affected by the flood of SP into Dust as it has become slightly devalued versus the past.
ISK will be even more difficult since that will be based on pricing, how hard ISK is to gain, and loads of other factors. |
