This is the question i keep getting asked. I personally believe that it is coming to ps4 and that's why CCP is no longer hauling towards using its current community to just drop them in the end! They see the sales of the ps4 and it is a arguably lucrative investment choice to bring this game over.
They have stated before that because of the PS4's design that it wouldn't be inconceivable that they could bring it over. Usually when a corporate company doesn't flat out deny stuff there's only one other answer left! And that is: yes!(But we dont want to tell you too early though).
Until recently the common phrase amongst many players I've met:"screw you ccp!!!" has ceased because of the recent fixes to alot of glitches/exploits.
There still are alot of em left like falling through the map in a tank while opening your nav map but at least invsi-swarms have been addressed!
The only way I can see this game coming back to high player numbers is to rewrap this package and market it better this time around! I truly believe in this game and want it to succeed because I know the potential of what it could be. EPIC/Next-generation online gaming is nothing short of the expressions I want to see/hear from more less forgiving (critical) players. A game called No Man's Sky is a hint of the potential of Dust 514.

Ps4's are even cheaper now as well and with the ps4 the game could actually become something great.

CCP Rouge: Porting a game as complex as DUST to PS4 is a huge undertaking and is currently not on our roadmap. |

CCP probably has a forumula that calculates the amount of whining for a dust ps4 port Vs Interest in legion lol.

What this game NEEDS, to get a bigger playerbase(money in da bank etc.) is an effective marketing campaign. This is an awrsome game and I know a lot more people would play it if they knew it existed. Most of my friends dont know anything about this game, AND THEY ARE ALL ICELANDIC FFS!

Why market a game for the lolps3 and especially when ps4s just went down in price?.
It can actually grow and get better on the ps4.

Well getting more players in here, getting the cash flowing would increase CCPs interest of developing the game. This game isnt as bad as people pose it to be. That is when you compare it to other FPS games out there. Yes we had expectations for more but CCP need the funds, more people developing(if they had funds lol) and the interest of continuing development, which would come with more popularity of the game.

highly unlikely. so much hassle and red tape to develop for consoles CCP don't want the trouble and restrictions again. Google Timesplitters Reborn/Rewind HD on PC and read the trouble the devs have had and how long it took to develop it on PS4 as well as PC. its been so much red tape and criteria to meet its took almost a year going back n forth between the devs, sony and crytek/
people think its just a case of "right, i'm gonan make a game on ps4/xb1/wii u and jobs done when in reality its just not that easy whereas on PC, it is.

Even given the supposedly massive scale of the game, I find it extremely hard to believe that the PS4 could not handle Legion. We already have a plentiful supply of PS4 games more graphically taxing than what we were shown at Fanfest 2014, and the PS4 more often than not just just fine with them.

What people also seem to forget is Sony have to allow a game to be developed for their consoles. considering the performance of dust on the PS3 why would Sony want a game that's had bad press for almost all its life and an extremely low active playerbase (about 3000-4000 logging in daily)? i believe at one point the game was reveiwed in open beta and again reveiwed several months later in 'full' release and actually received a lower score from several sources for uprising.
in industry eyes DUST514 is a 'failure' going to PC will allow CCP to do the game their way. distance LEgion from DUST514 and the negative image it has and then in several years if/when they have built up a good playerbase and then start reselling the IP to Sony or MS
