Spent an entire match on top of a bricked Caldari Dropship from a squad mate (Thing was nuts, a complex hardener, a sweet booster and almost 4000 shields), chasing after other dropships with my IAFG with a pair of Dmods on a proto Gal sent (Also roof clearing is hilarious).
Y'all should try Assault Forge Gun Dropship surfing with a squad mate, HELLA FUN!

You cannot make a fit like that.
Not enough slots unless you are talking EHP values and even then its much higher.

I love doing this. It's pretty awkward and normally ends in casualties when done with multiple people, though.
Here's what I've done it with:
Thale's sniper - One time I fell off, slid down a pyramid, and promptly got run over by an LAV while doing this. One of my two Thale's losses while semi-seriously sniping.
Gastun's forge - Shot down two enemy dropships, then fell into skyfire battery
Freedom MD - Exploded a few people on a Dom map, but didn't work too well in the end.
Squad of MDs - Chaos. Absolute chaos. Everybody died, everywhere.

Once the previous match, an unexpected forge gun slammed the derpship out of control. I've been pretty good at staying on the dropship, finding the best place to stand, and entering it if we need to hit the afterburner for emergencies ^^
As for the swarm suggestion, I'll try it out on my commando next, sounds really fun actually! Maybe pair it up with a MD or a PLC

Yup, gotta communicate to the pilot when surfing, as if the pilot starts rising too fast for example you'll phase right through the ship. I've only gone Caldari surfing though, maybe the Gall ship glitches differently.
