with the implementation of bandwidth i think its time we increase the carrying amount of equipment (not deployed amount) to allow logis the flexibility to move their equipment with them as the fight progresses and front lines change.
how many times do the front lines change in the average dust battle leaving behind every piece of logi equipment which was in use and perfectly placed only to become not used and and left as wasted spam . too many to count.
this has always a waste on battle resources and soon to become a waste on suit bandwidth. a lot of items left on the field today are due to players not having any equipment left to deploy to destroy their existing gear or their new suit has a different version fitted. with more carrying capacity players will be able to move their equipment with them more often and in doing so destroy their existing not in use equipment in the middle of no where.
currently you throw down an uplink for instance then you realise someone else threw one down too. this being a currently limited resource you cannot afford to waste it. with extra equipment carried you could just blow it up and move on and deploy somewhere else and have some to spare for later phases of the battle.
1 suggestion is reduce effectiveness on select equipment but double or even triple the carry capacity while keeping the deployed amount the same.

I second this request, particularly as it pertains to nanohives. I think the new warbarge flux strikes will reduce the average life expectancy of deployable equipment, compounding the problem.
I would happily accept the trade off of built in shorter life (fewer spawns, etc) in exchange for more carried. True, it is a valuable skill to be able strategically advance-position equipment for use later in the battle. But there is also a dynamic aspect to most battles. Too often I find myself too far away from a supply depot and unable to "switch suits" to refresh. A slight increase in carriables would level out my value to the squad over a longer stretch of the battle.
An alternative would be to provide other styles of hives and links that have more carried, but shorter life. Whichever method is easier to code.
Note: A corollary idea I have seen is to tie carrying capacity to Logistics Suit skill level.
FPS = First Person Support. Kills win battles but it's kinda hard to kill if you're dead and out of ammo.

Honestly there's now very little drawback to simply adding +1 or +2 to the current max deployed and not changing anything else. It was (ostensibly) there in the first place in large part to keep it from being spammed (very effective, I know).
With BW that's not really an issue.
Another option would be to double max carried and halve the nanites/spawns of each (going farther than that, as has been suggested by the CPM, makes them too disposable IMO)

Another option to have would be to voluntarily destroy your own equipment, reason being that you don't want to lose your uplink when you place a new hive down, for example.
Say you drop two links in overall solid places and have a bunch of hives. As the battle moves, you want those links because they're still in a good nplace, but you've pushed forward/been pushed back but need to replace the hives in new locations. Currently your only recourse is to drop new links (which you may not have) then drop the new hives.
It could be as simple as looking directly at the equipment and hitting/holding a certain button to remove it.
